I'd trade the McClaskeys for a 7th round pick.
And, yes. I agree with the mediocrity of Chicago sports radio lately. Carmen Defalco has lost his fastball. Jurko is just pure nasty and arrogant criticism. Waddle can't stand his job anymore. Silvy has passion, but there's nothing to be hopeful or excited about. Plus, the ownership of Chicago teams are all gutless, incompetent and worthless.

The o linemen that stay are braxton jones, amegaji, murray, shelton, pryor and wright.
Add LT Alaric Jackson, C Ryan Kelly, G Will Fries and G Will Hernandez for O Line. Draft two guards and a center. Draft RB Kaleb Johnson.
Any combination of those.
Sign DE Chase Young or Josh Sweat. Sign DT Javon Kinlaw or DJ Jones. Draft a DE and DT.
Trade DJ and Jaylon to the Steelers.

I told my brother on Christmas Day that we need to cut Tremaine Edmunds , let Tevin Jenkins walk and trade Jaylon Johnson . It’ll save us cap space and open the door for other players to take on leadership roles . We won’t miss those 3 players and we can allocate those funds towards other areas of the team that need more attention . Jaylon Johnson is a good corner but he’s not a franchise cornerstone and he’s ready for a change of scenery.
Jurko is absolutely right about Jaylon ! As far as DJ goes I don’t agree . DJ has been a prisoner of circumstance this season and his body language has been extremely misinterpreted. There are decisions that need to be made this off-season and if the right decisions aren’t made this team will continue to struggle . There is little room for error this off-season and if the ball bounces our way we could be contending for the division in 2026 realistically

The only reason to keep Shelton would be as a back up since he’s snapped for Caleb. But he is not the answer or starter at center next year or we’ll see more regression. Jenkins should’ve been playing left tackle. It’ll actually be a lighter load for him, the. Maybe he stays healthy and you have something there. The rookie was a stupid idea. They should’ve swapped those two, but clearly our o line coach is terrible and he manages to keep hanging around.. why is no one calling him out.

This is stupid as hell. The Braxton hate is so out of control. Whether you want to admit it or not, he’s a top 12-15 starting LT in the league and has another year of rookie contract. There is no Joe Alt available this year. Your 3 gaping holes are the interior, but lets reach to replace our solid left tackle! (and trade our only blue chip player on defense)
