Montreal Canadiens NOT Ready For Next Step AND Week 18 NFL Picks
The Montreal Canadiens couldn’t keep the winning going losing in Chicago to one of the worst teams in the NHL proving again that the Habs are not ready. Also, my FREE NFL picks for Week 18
Nothing wrong with this loss at all , montreal is a rebuilding team making strides , they will lose games to teams they are better than and beat teams they are worse than , young talent is making strides , realizing where this team is , is very important, the time for expectations is not now , hell hughes still hasn't finished moving out the bad contracts from MB.
1st thing , we need a real coach that does not put a 23yr old goalie on the bench for a week after a shut out in his debut . 2nd thing we need is another inpact player. Our development of prospects has bin horrible , slafkovsky guhle xhejai newhook dach are not getting bettet at all, mailoux and roy have bin stagment , and this is do to msl as coach he is terrible , 1 player benefited from him and thats cauffield. The entire coaching staff needs to be changed , letowski was a plug , and robidas was soft as baby shit. They are their to toot msl horn , even when he is wrong.
Slav needs to be exposed to old time hockey Arber needs to have a beer and explain the facts of north American hockey to him he's got to get tougher use his size and learn to be able to stay on his feet his butt makes to much contact with the ice.
it was a fine loss, they aren;t making the playoffs, they will be playing some meaningful games, they still need more talent, size and speed, they can;t afford to miss savard and laine or anyone else for a game, not enough depth, they again played with 5 ld again, it's not sustainable. The roster will leek better and have more talent next year.
It seems there may be a bug going thru the team. Laine out with “flu like symptoms “ Savard out same game. Slaf dragging his ass Ps: I’m a diehard Habs fan I share your videos with my 2 brothers so that’s more views for yuh buddy
Just when you thought maybe…frustrating team. As for Slaf I still think he will find his way but he has been a major disappointment thus far. At the risk of showing my age I always thought Slaf would materialize into a player from the 80's John Tonelli
I'm not saying that Slaf was the wrong pick, but it has to be said that he is an underwhelming 1st over all pick. When you make a comparable list of 1st over all picks, he would be much closer to Yakupov than McDavid.
Does management actually expect a team with half a dozen players under 6' to compete especially two undersized D men who are supposed to be able to clear the front of the net?
I agree we shouldn't be too hard on Slaf. But he doesn't have any clear cut exceptional skills. Even when he had the good end of season. I said it at the time, that the new huge contract was a massive mistake. Terrible business decision which was an emotional one.

It was a trap game. Google what a trap game is. I'm a Habs fan and bet Chicago.
I've watched longer than you 😅
The player's were embarrassed in their last game. Chicago wasn't going to lose. Habs will make the playoffs. Your take sucks 😂

If the Chicago game is a scheduled win then shouldn't the last 3 games against Tampa, Florida and Vegas be scheduled losses ???

Slab needs to be more aggressive on the puck. He needs to get stronger on his skates and run through guys. He is too tentative.

Go Habs. In 2 years all these Slaf haters will be singing his praise
