Do something, trader Jim!
We’re not in a terrible spot but Calgary and St. Louis are right up our whoop and they can easily take the wild card spot
One step forward and two steps back, been like that for 50 plus years…………Sigh
A Canuck fan since 1971
Feeling like a Canuck fan
When you keep making terrible teams look like world beaters, you're a terrible team. Nashville didn't play a great game out there and were very beatable tonight. Desharnais had a good night and even set up Miller for a great chance, but for nothing. If you have Boeser and DeBrusk on your wings and can't set up either of them on the power play even once, you're failing as a 1st line centre.
We need to trade both of them ….Or the cancer will remain…took two to screw this team over !
When a whole team underperforms you blame the coach, the idea that pretty much every player forgot how to play is silly. They did great early last season when we still saw some run and gun hockey from the team, then Tocchet's focus on system took over and all of that dried up. You say the playoffs was fun last season, yeah sure, if you ignore that we were getting outshot like crazy and just holding on for dear life for most of it. The second half of last season including the playoffs we played some of the most boring hockey ever witnessed, and that continued into this season.
Would not Hirose, or Wolanin, Brannstrom, OR ANYONE, look better than Desharnais or Forbert or … (ugh) on the power play ?!?!?!? Oh my goodness… The decisions this team is making lately are baffling.
