  1. Long time, no see, glad to see you back, if we had a replacement for Jake Evans, i would say yes, but we don't yet.

  2. All depends on the offer for him. No player is not tradeable if the price is right.

  3. It's good to see you again my man. I fully agree with you, we are highly likely to lose a Jake Evans trade, so we should definitely keep him

  4. He stays. Dvorak goes. Savard depends on the right return. His intangibles are hard to come by, and that's part of why Carrier is on the team.

  5. We lost Philip Danault, and now we would lose Jake Evans!? These kind of players are hard to find and extremely valuable, especially in series situations.

  6. What you do is:
    a) Check if a replacement is viable.
    b) check the offers.

Evans is not a playmaker, a 3rd center in a low ranking team. He had ALOT of concussions. Free agency would give him a 5 year contract that I would not do on this guy.

  7. Welcome back Tropical!! Back at it again 🔥🔥 2025 va etre fire bro 🗣

  8. I was at that Montreal Vegas game that Evans scored, me and my buddy came in from British Columbia and had box seats , for the Vegas and LA games , my first time in the bell center.

  9. Hughes is a big fan of selling high.. while we’re a seller. I don’t think he sees us as sellers anymore. You wanted to be in the mix, then next year you definitely want to be in the mix, if not the playoffs. By the following year playoffs will be the expectation. We’re not in sell mode anymore. You lose Evans you take a step back.

  10. Totally agree with you. Evans 3.5 for 4 years. Trade Savard at deadline if the right deal comes up and Reinbacher's recovery looks good. Montreal has a LOT of picks this year and a lot of depth. = Flexibility. Newhook needs to get ready for third line work with Demidov coming soon. New deal for Heineman required.

  11. It would be dishonest to the team to do that in the context where they are competing to get back in contention. Just extend him. Whats the odds a draft pick will become a player as valuable as Jake Evans? In how many years if it does?
