3 key points. 1. The BIGGEST point: Jets were completely outhit. The Jets not hitting is going to cost us dearly in the playoffs. 2. Hellebuyck was 5% less than his usual stellar self. Two serious soft goals. Honestly, Comrie played better last game but the team was just fatigued after a big travel day back-to-back. 3. Stanley is playing much better but OMG he needs to learn how to skate!!! (He also needs to learn how to fight to maximize his benefit to the team.)
Great to see they separated Heinola and Stanley. It wasn't fair to either one of them to put to junior D-men together, and force one onto his off wing.
Hellybucks is in his playoff hockey vibe.
You are going to be a great leader for the winnipeg jets keep your job going ,🎉
I like hearing this coach talk about how things are run day in and day out, he was quite illuminating in how they get the boys ice time and I can see he's got a good sense of humour too so he is likely a great fit with the team/coaching staff. Great work on whoever brought Dean and Davis to the Jets. They are great staff additions.
