I think the only problem I have with Pettersson, is if he will show up come playoffs. His only playoff appearances were in the 19-20 season, and last season (23-24 season).
Petterson to the Jets. Nobody smart enough in Wpg to make it work. Would rather have slow shuffle skaters with no talent and get knocked out in the first round? Count on it/ This is exactly the guy they need with Ehlers? Barlow a good name PERFETTI AND SOMEONE ELSE. DONE DEAL? Perffetti to sweeten the deal?

I would rather have Cole Perfetti instead of Pettersson.
No because it would throw off our whole cap structure with big contracts coming up. Just my opinion. Unless you're trading both Connor and ehlers and don't have to worry about what it does to their salary.

I don't agree. We need a real D man to replace Stanley. We need a bag of pucks to replace Stanley. Our offence can do it, but our D always kills us.
As much as I like Pety , We need a Stud D man first, second and third. No way we need another center. Just put a couple guys back there that can move the puck up and we will be indestructible. Win a cup then watch the superstars change their tune about coming here. 11 Mil on the cap space will be an albatross.
If the Jets can do it without letting go of another core piece they should absolutely do it. All prospects and picks should be on the table, and everyone outside Josh, Mark, Adam, Connor for the right deal. I'd like to make a deal mostly out of picks/prospects, but I recognize that they will want some established talent back. I think Ehlers would be a good fit, and then whatever it takes after that.
