After taking a Josh Manson shot to the leg in the final game on New Year’s Eve in Colorado there was some uncertainty if Jets defenceman Dylan DeMelo would be a player tonight against the Ducks to kick off 2025. He told us after morning skate that it was a stinger that limited his ability to return to the game but he knew he’d just be sore and not injured after it. He spoke about that, the long eight-game homestand, goalie Connor Hellebuyck going for his 300th win and more.

This time move puck quickly any way you can. Your talented but ducks are quackers with heavy forecheck. If you and the rest of defence flip pucks high out 2-1 and 3-2 will amount to high quality chances if they over extend themselves deep In our zone trying to forecheck us heavy
