Hes has shown some significant improvement in the last few months, but it’s 3 years too late and we could’ve traded him when there was more “potential” in his game. Nobody is gonna trade for a 27 year old fringe 3rd pairing guy that probably wouldn’t crack the lineup on 50% of NHL teams. Stan must have dirt on management or is a secret nepo baby because there’s no reasonable explanation why he’s been here so long. Even the “but he’s 6’7” argument never made sense since only now, 5 years later is he truly showing actual grit.
With 3pts and a +2 in the last 3 games it’s not good timing for this video 😂 The feeling in the ‘peg now is that Stanley is ahead of Heinola and whoda thunk that. With Chisholm and Kova playing and Stanley/Heinola coming across as at best the 7th and 8th dman that blame has to go on the coaches. On the flip side maybe the Jets are playing the long con and Stanley has never looked better.

And I agree some of prospects need to make roster next year Appleton,Pionk,Miller,Iafallo,Ehlers are UFA and Adding maybe Salmonsson,Chibrikov,Lambert/Yager could be better move.
I hope Jets aquire by this deadline Sanheim,Provorov,Ristolainen,Pulock,Savard,Anderson,Murphy,Pettersson. Having Stanley,Fluery,Heinola,Coghlan as depth is ok but for playoff push that 6th spot or someone who can move up if injury which happen long series.
I don't think the player Stanley was a mistake. I think the management of Stanley has been a mistake. Hopefully it's not too late to get his confidence and momentum back.

He played pretty good the first half of the Avalanche game, but you can't play "pretty good" for 1 game and play like ass the next 10.
Playoffs are different than regular season. We need big bodies and bid Dman typically take a while to develop.

I’m glad you highlighted Declan Chisholm. It’s unbelievable that we just let him walk. The Jets are just inept for keeping Logan Stanley over other better 3rd pairing defence like Declan Chisholm. I’d point out they are making the same inept mistake by not playing Heinola.
Couch coaches always know better than pros make these decisions for a living. I'm sure every commenter shitting on Stanley is good enough to make the NHL they just didn't want to.

Nobody has 6 or more Josh Morriseys or Cale Makars. Stanley is what he is, and lately he seems to be improving with ice time. Give the big man some love.
