  1. The blues being in the middle of the pack just being good enough to not get any good draft picks sounds like the past 2 decades. The reality is Armstrong should have been for the weird gutting the defense after that cup run. Let’s get rid of the most physical defense in hockey and swap ‘em out for undersized, overpaid puck movers. Most times this retooling over rebuild mindset doesn’t work. You lose out on the higher tier draft picks. I mean you missed out on Bedard and a long list of quality stars. Thomas and Kyrou are stars. But they are not franchise superstar quality. And we don’t know how consistent they will be. Armstrong has made a long list of terrible decisions. Petriangelo should have never been allowed to walk. I will make the case that having Petro is more valuable than having Krug and Faulk. Considering Krug has played 3 games in 4 years 😂

  2. Armstrong basically said this trade was going to be it. No more trades. He also saying none of the prospects should be coming up to the NHL full-time ready until 26-27. So none of this is likely to be an issue

  3. Fowler was a good start. The problem isn't the forwards. Colton Parayko is an absolute disaster, no composure, terrible decisions, last night late in the game he was 20 feet from the goal and his slap shot missed the goal by 6 feet. He coughs the puck up in the defensive zone all the time. Fails to clear the puck regularly.
I can't hardly watch him, I'm amazed I'm the only one seeing this?

  4. I don't believe the Blues would be any better off in the East. The west might be deeper now than in previous seasons. However the top half of the two divisions in the East are still a Juggeenaut. Ask the Redwings, Sens, Sabres about the Atlantic. How long its been since they cracked the top 4. The Metro has looked weaker with last years Presidents trophy winner (Rangers) falling from grace. But the Capital have claimed their spot. Hurricanes are always really good. Devils at really good too.
