How many bad weather games do you really get in a year. This year was an anomaly, with back to backs in GB and Buffalo. Most games are in good weather and domes. That's when you need a good running game.

Word of advice to the gang! Been a fan for 52 years, seasons like this happen. But the organization is solid, team is still stocked. We do have some good young players to go with the veterans. Chill on the purdy contract. It should be on our side. They again have the leverage. Need to trade b.a while they can, bit of a cap hit but picks can go to the o-line. What should have happened last off season.

Kittle will be gone in 2026 as the other team will offer him the bag. Their is a Kittle replacement in the draft who is Tyler Warren from Penn State. I fear Kyle won't pick him
You only have so many chances, and we have thrown them all away by carelessness. Purdy should have won this game given all the momentum the rest of the team fed on. Sadly, Purdy couldn't return the momentum and that was the game. (Purdy's interception(s)[2] with Moody's 2 missed field goals cost the Niners a win)
The 49ers' recent challenges raise legitimate questions about strategic decisions and team development. Shanahan's game and time management, particularly in critical moments, warrants examination given the pattern of strategic setbacks in high-stakes situations over the past two seasons. His performance in last year's Super Bowl was an atrocity, which essentially cost the 49ers the Super Bowl.
The special teams unit, especially Moody's predictably inconsistent performance, has become a significant liability in close games. With unequivocal certainty, Moody needs to be replaced next season. He's a disaster for the 49ers. If his consistently disastrous performance in nearly every game isn't enough to warrant his replacement, then Shanahan demonstrates his inability to make the tough decisions needed to lift the Niners out of the NFC West basement. This raises questions about personnel evaluation and development processes. Denise DeBartolo, the 49er's owner, should seriously consider is Shanahan is the future for the 49ers. The reality is that Shanahan will never bring a championship to San Francisco.
While Purdy has shown flashes of brilliance, his decision-making in crucial moments and turnover rate need addressing. His completion percentage and QB rating suggest potential, but consistency remains a major concern. Purdy predictably throws interceptions at the most inopportune time in many games this year. And his 2-minute drill in the 4th quarter is atrocious. Purdy is a good QB but not a franchise QB! He would be an excellent backup QB but clearly not a starter. Purdy has shown too many times that he can't generate a comeback without horrendous passes that too often result in points for their opponent.
The defensive secondary's performance indicates a need for both schematic adjustments and potential personnel changes during the offseason. Management may need to start completely over and build from the ground up. Terrible tackling and a porous defense has not been able to slow down any team all season. Moreover, the high penalty count also suggests underlying disciplinary issues that need addressing at a systemic level. And this is a Shanahan problem! Shanahan is simply a weak coach and does not command the necessary discipline required for strong contention in the NFL. Making difficult decisions has been his Achilles heel for years.
For a franchise with the 49ers' legacy, these issues deserve careful consideration from ownership down, focusing on whether current leadership can make the necessary adjustments to return to championship-caliber play.
I would not pay Purdy he is going to be another dac from the cowboys

How SF just falls off a cliff after the SB run is strange. The continuation of the winning team after 2022 seems like the ingredients were there.

Purdy as a elite quarterback I do see him as a average QB who will not get better. 49ers can't pay him more than 40 million on a short term deal. 49ers must extend, Kittle, Wanner, Bosa , and Juice. Samuel must get traded effort is just not there anymore. Hofanga is average and should walk in Free agency
I’m going to be completely honest besides us needing to bring Robert Sala back. I do think in all honesty if this guy doesn’t take a approach like Mahomes it’s gonna be a rude awakening for us because I don’t think us paying him 60 million is going to help benefit by putting pieces around him. He needs people we need a better line. We gotta get better at the offensive line. He should take a discount if he really wants to be great like Tom Brady follow Tom Brady’s approach take less make more in the long run. Play chess not checkers.

Trade Brock Purdy. He's trash. Wait until Brock holds out. This season Brock missed OTA'S and PRESEASON. He's injured for the 3rd time. Brian Grease should be fired. Every player who hold out played like shit. Even when Brock missed OTA'S and PRESEASON. Brock not in the top 15 quarterback. Brock has thrown 14 int's.
