Happy New Year Low Qual. Love supporting the channel. But why oh why aren't Poitras and Lysell up? It's clear Freddie, McLaughlin, and Beecher are bringing nothing.

Why can’t we bring up Potras,Lysell and Merkulov all up for 5 or 6 games and see if they fit anywhere. Can it really hurt the current lineup?
we are not as good as the record shows in fact worse. Unless Sweeney gets help this team playoff or not is done

Love the rant!!!! I was truly proud of Coyle during that 3rd period scrum, you could see he was pissed and wanted to knock a head off someone. I wish the Bruins players would understand that there are other players besides Pasta to pass to when he is on the ice. Frankly I don't understand why they don't use him more as a pass decoy to open up the ice. Per the current rumors, Fredrick is the only player I would trade to the Rangers for Kreider.
4 fourth liners, an unplayable Frederick, and the 30th pp. I dont understand the organization's fear of playing younger guys. Either they fail and don't help the team (which they already aren't helping the team in ahl) or they improve it or raise their trade value. Like I dont understand what playing them will hurt?

Yes I'm also upset by that we are we trying to sell penalties so often lately. We can't even score on the f*cking play in the first place? Why disgrace yourself for nothing?? WHY?! This team is so freaking terrible. I can't possibly bring myself to agree that this game had anything to be happy about.
Close game but the usual can't finish when we need to and can't get a big save when we need it happened again. We weren't bad but this offense is horrible, Brazzeau is in the lead for pp goals lol

Agree on the Lysell situation. Why bring the guy up just to play 10 minutes and send him back down? I think we are far enough into the season and have enough data to know that the current line up can’t generate sufficient offense. It’s just not gonna happen.
I think Frederick is missing Monte.
Their management of the prospects is playing out like an Iannucci joint, well, somewhere between Veep and Benny Hill anyway.

It was nice to let Lysell play in the show with his family here, but we probably should have called up Poitras and had him stay awhile. I totally agree with you about the physicality of the AHL; Poitras would be safer in the NHL. Poitras is, hopefully, a large piece of our future (1C?); he needs to play in the NHL right now!!
Coyle was so close to having that goal. A full 60m game is all in asking for. This was a good game for the boys. Not the best but chemistry is better than we were a couple months ago.
I love Freddy, but at this point I'd rather call up Brandon Bussi to center the third line and maybe even run the powerplay.

Call up Potrais, Lysell and Merc, give them top 6 minutes and more than just one game and see what they can do. Some of these senior players are too comfortable and need a kick.
Speaking of which, there needs to be a very serious discussion about Pasta. I’m getting sick and tired of seeing him just stand around defensively and turn the puck over almost everytime he enters the attacking zone. Why he seems to be untouchable is beyond me.

when Eichel asked a trade, it was rumored that he prefers the B's to be the destination, but they don't have enough chips for him. and so on other big trades, the B's are not able to participate in.

Let me explain diving in soccer. When the player gets fouled the ref can either blow the whistle or let the play continue if the player being fouled still has the ball and is better off the play doesn’t stop. If a player embellishes or dives he is telling the ref he prefers the foul be called rather than the ref playing the advantage. Granted there are times when players dove without being touched which is classless. In hockey, there is no “playing the advantage” therefore diving in hockey is much worst than diving in soccer. That’s my take and I’m sticking to it.
Man I love you but, if you watched this game and still didn’t get it with Carlo then you never will.
He is wholely to blame for the first goal, the pass is atrocious, so bad even calling it a pass is somewhat ridiculous.
He then doesn’t do enough on the breakaway and then loses out twice behind the net…once physically and the other when he literally has his stick on it.
Then the mangiapane thing is what we are all saying, he got rag-dolled by a dude half his size, he’s embarrassing.
He gets let off so many huge mistakes and terrible positional awareness because once a game he has a long reach and breaks up a play.
His salary and his ability do not match up, yes you can argue the same with zadorov but you throw him under bus every chance you get and yet Carlo is your boy
I can’t believe he goes back into that locker room after the mangiapne thing and nobody says anything to him… he is literally the dude in mystery Alaska that doesn’t realise he’s a “big guy” 😂
If only we could score more….sigh.
