Edmonton Oilers News: Jeff Skinner Trade SOON? | Oilers Trade Needs | Evander Kane
The Edmonton Oilers have several team needs right now, and are scratching Jeff Skinner in Back To Back games so it appears. Let’s discuss possible trades, and Oilers team needs via trades. #EdmontonOilers #Oilers #NHL
Hey dolynny i love this channel i have been a fan of this channrl for a few years now and eant you to know i really appreciate the work and time you put in your channel thank you dolanny go oilers
A buyout brought in who can't get anything done even with the 2 best players in the world. Package him with Hobkins in a trade to try to get a vet solid D man like Larson was or Ekholm. While I doubt there's a GM dumb enough to do that, it's worth a shot.
It’s interesting that all the way back in 2010 Jeff Skinner was drafted seventh by the Canes and played for that team, during each of his first eight seasons, none of which had featured for that team a playoff appearance. The Canes would, starting the season after his very last with that team, make playoff appearances in 6 straight seasons and find themselves, pending a New Year’s Eve Mountain Time game against the CBJ, 6 points up on the Pens for a top-three Metro Division spot.
Skinner, with the Sabres team to which he would be traded to complete the final season of the contract he had signed way back when with the Canes, would interestingly re-sign with the same team even after his new team had finished 22 points out of a playoff spot. He surely had known, after the Sabres had been officially eliminated from playoff contention late in March 2019, that he wouldn’t be seeing Stanley Cup playoff action at least, until the following season, despite which he would re-sign that June with the same team. Yet an 8-season US$72 million contract appeared to him to be way too hard to turn down.
Like to see Kapanen in top six move either Arvidsson or Hyman back to left wing. Put nuge on 3rd line center with skinner until kane is back. 4th line Henrique Janmark Brown.
You are right on needs. Also Nurse is good when hes not counted on to be physical. Now he is. Ekholm cant be the only defenseman we have thats hard to play against. Dehjarnias was that playoff x factor on defense. He helped allow the other defenseman to move the the pucks.
Also. Jeff Skinner must be on the bad side of the coach. Skinner looks too slow perhaps. I thought a sniper could post up and hit some scores. Kane needs a spot.
Teams like Nashville are importsnt games this week and next. Many teams already are deciding soon if they are buyers or sellers.
12:38 The Dolynny TV YouTube man’s claim that this Oiler team is no worse than last season’s is interesting. That said, the Oilers are still a streaky team, and that California road trip showed me once again why. To face the Anaheim ducks, the owners didn’t need to fly from downtown Los Angeles, with the former Staples Center and the Honda Center not even 100 km away by road; those two arenas may very well be the closest 2 NHL ones around.
Jeff Skinner ( – 11 )is NOT fit for Oilers TOP 6 )) IMHO and he is NOT a bottom 6 player ) Resume : TRADE him ASAP Adam Henrique ( +1) scored only 3 goals in 36 games )) trade him too ! Corey Perry – too slow at age 39 ) find younger players! Oilers need UPGRADE in defense and attack ! and both goaltenders are mediocre at best

How did the Oilers know he wasn't a fit from game 1 of the season? Please…
He has six 30 goal seasons.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Send Jeff Skinner Josh Brown and Derek Ryan to Philly 4 Morgan Frost and a 7th round draft pick

Darnell Nurse is most effective when he's sitting on the bench…😂.
