Jordan Eberle WJHC 2009 Tying Goal VS Russia

Jordan Eberle and Team Canada – a match made in heaven for clutch moments. I was fortunate enough to be at this World Junior semi-final game against Russia in 2009, where Eberle potted the tying goal with 5.4 seconds to go in the 3rd.

Enjoy this shot of what will always be one of the greatest moments in Canadian Hockey history!

  1. If this goal by Eberle led to a Silver Medal for Canada that would have been great, but they ended up winning the Gold which puts it on an a whole other level

  2. I had the privilege to watch the gent for 4 years in Regina. Amazing person and very skilled and talented hockey player.

  3. Dude you had THE seat for this goal, right there for Ellis’s epic keep in to watching Tavares whip it on goal in a Hail Mary to Eberle pulling er out and stuffing it in for what could be argued to be one of Canadas best WJC goals!

  4. Good to see a different angle without maguire commentating and the first person view with the loudness of the fans.
