You talking about Landon DuPont the dman? I thought he was due for the year after McKenna (he’s super young) but super super great talent
Musty really harmed his development trajectory and reputation with the trade request drama. Might be a guy worth exploring a trade with because Chernyshov and Halttunen can bring similar game. I was never high on Musty to start as he's a bit of a primadonna. Maybe package him with picks for a puck moving rhd.
This podcast is awesome!
Dawson Mercer signed 3x$4M. He had played 3 seasons and scored in the 30-50 point range.
Kirill Marchenko signed 3x$3.85M after a half season at 25 points and a full season at 42 points. It's turned into an amazing bargain for Columbus as he's now on pace for 86 points this season!
I think Zetterlund should expect a contract in that neighborhood. Maybe there's a bit of inflation after the cap jumps again this season.
Personal new year dreams.
1. Win the cup
2. Couture and vlassic get at least one more game in their legendary careers. Hoping for more.
3. Health for everyone.
4. More draft luck.
5. As best as able, consistent progression.
Thank you Sheng for all of your hard work on the road!!
32:38 @Keegan you were remarkably close on the 5×5 prediction on Blackwood's contract. Happy for him and happy that we didn't take that on, all things considered. Another money move by GMMG
