After last year's incredible run, taking out Boston, Toronto, and sweeping Carolina as the last placed seed i became a huge Panthers fan. There are 4 ex-Sabres players who suffered through years of our losing tradition and I'm so happy for them. Rodrequez, Okposo, and Sam Reinhart and Montour always showed so much class despite. (unlike Eickel). SOOOO happy for them and all of the Panthers.
I remember there was a really long stretch of play right before this happened where the Oilers almost scored, and I realized: “Floridas gonna turn it around now and score.” And sure enough, Reinhart got it.
