I love Mickey but his commentating was off the deep end tonight. Calling goals lucky bounces saying there's goalie contact. Holy fck man know when to hang it up some nights..Even Keats knows when it's time to call it quits.

Todd came in and turned this team around after two morning skates and one practice. What a man, and LGRW!
This was the best game of the year for the Wings. Actually saw spark and wanting to play. Tarasenko still useless.
That Raymond goal was great. I loved the way that he held that shot until he knew he was clear of the flailing defender and Lindgren wasn't getting back up. Then Mickey's reaction, "what is going on with this team?" was priceless. LGRW!
9:21 this is why Rasmussen plays 10 minutes a game. After his shot gets saved, he just gives the puck away. That’s the stuff that they need to stop doing.
Anyone know what happened to the second ref? I was at the game and didn't see anything but noticed only one ref on the ice in the third period.

2-0 lead early vs a good team
Giving up a goal to make it 2-1 from a once in a generation player trying to break an all-time record, whatever, good for him
Bending, but not breaking, immediately responding with a goal to make it 3-1 vs a good team
Adding an extra one for good measure to make it 4-1 vs a good team
Actually communicating with one another on the ice so verbally almost every shift you can hear Red Wings players calling each other by name/nickname, suddenly having fun out on the ice again
This is the sequence that gets the Red Wings mental confidence back on track for the rest of the season.
It’s only one game but that’s the type of energy and compete we didn’t see enough so far this year.
Todd is absolutely having an immediate effect on this team. Ray, Kaner, and Cat had big games. One game at a time.
