Leafs need to stop flirting with it. You’re either all in or you’re not. Nobody is safe. Minten, Cowan, everyone is available for the right return. We NEED to win now… Cowan in 3 years doesn’t help us. Need to be bold and make some big time moves imo. Hopefully trieleiving is all in!

Literally the past 7 years (feels like 15 years) the Leafs and Leafs fans are searching and talking about someone to play with Morgan Reilly. Maybe the reason that they’ll never find one is because Reilly will never be able to defend top players! Just go back and watch the elimination goal vs Boston last year, that’s all you will always get from Reilly with his mindset, he’s not a shutdown defender and nobody will turn him into one. Stop wasting so much mental energy every year trying to figure out who in the NHL can be paired with Reilly, how about nobody. Reilly would destroy Hedmen’s reputation in 3 months of being defence partners. Forget trading assets on behalf of Reilly
Just focus on getting another forward or two and hope the combination of adding Tanev, Larrsson, Stolarz in the summer and a playoff healthy Woll, Nylander and Matthew’s is enough to get us to a division Final vs Florida and potentially past Florida, its all we can focus on at the moment.. If Reilly has problems with defenders the calibre of Tanev, Larrssson, McCabe, Schenn, Boosh who else can they acquire on behalf of little Morgan, Alex Pietrangelo and Ekblad?? I got news for you, all those aforementioned defenders aren’t the problem, Reilly’s the problem and always will be.
