They're back into the mix, 1 point from a WC spot and I think 6 back from the Cane's who are in 3rd in division. I also like Clurman who played well for his first nhl game

Maybe it's because Nieto is another product of Boston U.. Puljujärvi/Hayes can block shots too. Puljujärvi brings way more to the table. Also Ned needs to be the starter
Very good and interesting point about JP, so knowing that, or at least thinking that may be the reason, then why not trade him. Add something to your hockey team and at least send this guy to a place where he has a chance. It’s beyond ridiculous.
Yes, maybe JP should change to other club. No need to waste the boy's time on the bench. He is a good player(speed, size, shots, creative) he needs the right system and coach.
Bunting might be the ONLY piece of value in the Jake trade . Koivunen and Ponomarov are over 20 yrs old. Almost the same age as Poulin . Who’s more productive in the A …. Not good.
First thing I noticed tonight was how the Pens were really skating hard and backchecking more than I've seen them in ages… Glad you mentioned that. As for Puljuujarvi, his cherrypicking keeps standing out in my head.. I could be wrong, but, honestly, more often than not, I recall him sitting outside the zone waiting for a pass – maybe he isn't playing "the right way" according to Sullivan and isn't defensively-minded (hence why he's not in the lineup).. just my thoughts but could be misremembering
Hey DK……last night was O'Connor's best game in quite a while, how much longer is his leash? His finish is non existent, is that cause he's been saddled as a checker by Sullivan and lost his mentality to score? Bring back Jesse! Last night was a great game, Bunting is emerging as the hidden gem. I didn't see all the risk that doesn't need to be there, makes you wonder if Letang could get that through his head. The new kid, it was hard not to get behind him….he was smiling, he was getting good shots through, he was moving his feet, hopefully he gets a fair chance to stay in the lineup to see what he has. It was a fun game!

From another perspective DK how would you compare JP to DOC? DOC hasnt had a goal since the high school prom. He can get the puck up ice but just has no scoring skills and is not a great passer. JP can sure score, he's skilled. I can see why Nieto and Acciari are on the team..they are 4th liners and you need a couple players like that.
