When they fired Gallant I pleaded for Quenneville but it was too soon apparently, thanks to the self-righteous people responsible for his fate, including the media.

Once they started advertising they were open to trading the veterans, that was it.
Not disagreeing that the core needs retooling, but David Quinn was fired because he was terrible. There's a reason why Gerard Gallant never makes it past two years anywhere.
