The canucks were/are at their best when they have an identity. When they went on the cup run vs the rangers, they were loaded with character guys. Gino, Momesso, Diduck, Hunter…to name a few. They haven't had a lot of that in subsequent years but with Tocchet, they seem to be returning to that. They have skill guys and then some meant and potato players…who can put the puck in the net too. I think they are one more addition away from being a scary team
If we didn't have Lankinen, we'd be at the bottom of the standings with Silovs! We need Demko & Joshua back to be a playoff & cup contender. And we need to beat those hard teams like Winnipeg, who have 12 wins in 13 games.
I was so incredibly hyped when i saw that we signed sherwood. My friends didnt understand. But i hated watching him absolutely harass the canucks squad in the playoffs. Happy hes on our side now
I saw that coming he was the guy I saw as a dakota joshua replacement… I was so hyped when we suddenly had both đź’Ą
Its a shame Sherwood doesn’t have a Sherwood sponsorship, it would work so well, marketing and all
You should talk about gems so far like goalies low forwards who have played great etc
When Dak is back in the lineup for us he’s going to love playing catch up to Sherwood’s hits total. Such a good pair of forwards for us to have on the team!
Coming from a Nucks fan, I’m must say it was a great decision to sign him. He is fitting in just fine with the squad. And also lankinen was also a great choice. He is certainly a high level keeper 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽been telling my wife, the new faces are fitting in well. Looking forward to see how the season pans out. GO NUCKS GO ‼️‼️‼️‼️
I remember not even realizing Sherwood was a free agent when we signed him and was so excited when we did. Dude's been a perfect add so far.
Sherwood going to bully Kane just like big z did hahaha

Love your takes bro keep posting great content!!
Sherwood and Garland have been top tier this year
cant wait till dak is fully back
When I heard about Brännström's past, I was a little concerned how he would pan out with the Canucks, so I've had some more than normal focus on his play and he is doing really well so far. I'm glad the Nucks took a chance on him.
Sherwood is leading the team in hits. He currently has 72 hits after only 11 games while second on the team is Hronek with 24. He has 48 more hits than anyone else on his team.
Sherwood, Garland, Joshua. That’s all I gotta say
Great bang for the buck
Kevin was the best signing for them in my opinion. The Canucks record would be way worse if he wasn't in net.
I remember him just hounding Hughes all playoff, and I think Quinn mentioned that the Cancks should look into him. Maybe because he was the only forechecker who consistently was able to catch Quinn.
Make a video on the jets contracts and trades in the past. Chevy has done a hell of a job
damn i just found out about Dakota Joshua's balls, i hope they get better and stay Solid Steel.
Let’s go for covering Canucks
I was kinda bummed out when we didn’t get guentzel but i think it’s all g cause if we got him I don’t think we could’ve been able to fill out the depth with Sherwood who is a fkn stud and other guys I’m excited for like debrusk and heinen
facts 🫡
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Sherwood is a monster pick up at that AAV. He's fitting perfectly into that line up and provides a jolt/spark for the team. Love it
Best part of the Brannstrom deal is that it was basically a cap dump we traded away too.
Allvin’s got a nose for finding undervalued guys and getting them onboard. Sherwood has been a staple on that 3rd line, he pushes everybody to play harder, and Branny has been an instant fan favourite the guy’s a buzz saw.
I cannot believe a 5.5 million dollar player can be soooo invisible that I keep forgetting he even appeared in every game and is playing minutes.
Not mentioned in the video – Sherwood has also been a key part to the PK early on, although I assume he gives that role back to Dak when he's back
Love the Nucks content Johnny!
How comes Preds didnt keep sherwood
It takes some chest hair to wear 44 in this market
Told ya you would love Sherwood. Guy is that pain in the butt who can actually contribute .
Petey will come through 🙏 he’s still a tweak ass small town Scandinavian kid going through it give him a sec to adjust to the new contract hype and he’ll be a pillar
I always liked Kiefer when he was with the Ducks, skated hard every shift just wasn't able to convert on chances back then. I didn't even realize he played so many games with Nashville last year, I saw him play a number of games in an Eagle's sweater.
Canucks did a great job in the offseason, give it thirty games for everything to gel, players finding their rhythm and this is going to be fun
1:15 Yeah but with Petts, we just don't know how much the tendonitis is affecting him right now. If you've ever had a really sore knee, you'll understand that it's frustrating. What the Canucks are learning right now is that their secondary scoring has been excellent. Just wait until DJ returns… between him and Sherwood, they'll be a pain in the ass duo to play against OR just as great, two different lines with a banger-crasher.
2:17 Between that signing, the Lankinen pickup (which they needed at least short term, but he's now earned at least the backup spot), and the Brannstrom trade (Poolman is now off the books), even if someone says the Allvin moves haven't all been perfect, they sure has hell have been way more hit than miss.
Absolutely
I am really impressed with Lankinen. I saw him play a few games for the Preds last season and I liked him then too. He will definitely be the backup for Demko when he comes back. I like Silovs, but I think he might need a little more time in the AHL. He isn't doing too great right now, and I have a feeling that playoff performance last year took a little bit of a toll on him.
pacific division is a joke, canucks fans are delusional thinking they have something good here
love sherwood so far on the canucks
Playoffs what are you talking about? You realize this is Vancouver Canucks, right
