Send Mich and Koly to AHL to play all games. That way Koly would go down to AHL with his buddy and we develop both of them and maybe get a better pick at the draft.
I think yall put Michkov on to big of a pedestal. You cant give special treatment to certain players, its part of why Torts is a good coach.
according to Tortorella during his post game comments, Michkov's benching had to do with energy level. Perhaps the demanding schedule has caused him to hit a wall and that's contributing to his drop off. If that's the case, sit him for a couple of games. You are out on the west coast, this would be a good time to do that.

The history books are filled with uber talents destroyed by being thrown into the deep end too early. Michkov CAN be harmed. Jones Briere and Torts understand that developing Michkov is the most important challenge for the organization. Given the enormity of the changes that Michkov has experienced over the past 6 months – at 19/20 years of age! – I agree that his development this year should be handled cautiously.
