  1. Man laviolette just know Rangers fans appreciate you. To deal with drury, Dolan, the media, THE PLAYERS SOFT ASF, and even the fans calling for your head is work nobody else would do for frees. We appreciate you.

  2. You don't have the right players period.
Soft on checking, weak on the puck battles, and slow leprechaun defenseman.

  3. Dead man walking. Peter Laviolette knows it. But his firing won’t change anything. It’s sad.

  4. My biggest question for Lavi would be why not change the system. Play a more defensive system. Limit chances against. Just play safe hockey. They only allowed 25 shots tonight. But too many games allowing 40 shots against.

  5. I unfortunately saw that disaster live. Was my daughter’s first NHL game. They look slow and the shots they got had very little chance of going in. Vasi made it look easy while Igor was mainly left out to dry by piss poor D. I think I spent most of the game shaking my head. Absolutely garbage hockey.

  6. How is he not getting angry and calling out this team? He talks like they are securely in the playoffs. He's part of the problem and need to go. No leadership

  7. Compare the performance of Tampa's first line with that of the Rangers to see how far the Rangers have fallen.Kreider and Zibanejad can't buy a goal for love nor money
Games aren't played on paper and 2 highly paid players earning around $15 million a season are for the most part invisible.
This season is done so the Rangers need to be strategic sellers and long term strategic buyers.
Adding Perreault to this current group will waste perhaps a generational talent who will go the way of Kaapo, Anderson and maybe Lafreniere.
For years the Rangers have been too small and too soft. They have relied on the power play and elite goaltending.Team defence appears to be optional and the notion of playing for 60 minutes is like garlic to a vampire .These shortcomings were being raised by the hockey community long ago and last year's underlying weaknesses were completely ignored by Drury by a combination of wilful negligence or having NMC's scupper the offloading of non performers.
Rebuild number 2 needs to start now as nobody watching this team is delusional enough to think they are within a million miles of the Stanley Cup.Or do they???

  8. Chris Drury needs to go. He’s one of Jeff Gorton’s constituents and failed to acquire Patrick Kane or Vladimir Tarasenko until 2023 and then let them both go after that season, despite them both being Laviolette’s boys. Their departures cost us the Cup last year. Instead, Drury opted for Jimmy Vesey and Barclay Goodrow, who are both Alain Vigneault’s boys. Drury took Laviolette’s boys away from him before he could even get a chance to work with either of them and decided to opt for Vigneault’s boys, instead and now Laviolette is on the hot seat because of it. So sad. This is exactly what my Jets did to Rex Ryan and the Giants did to Tom Coughlin. They take their talent away from them and then fire them for not winning. It’s so sad. The fake Ranger fans ran Kane and Tarasenko out of town because the people who ran them out of town might be Flyer fans disguised as our fans, in order to put the Flyers ahead of us. They know that if we had acquired both of them in 2021 and hired Laviolette then, we would’ve made game 7 of the 2022 Final, beaten the Devils in 2023, kept them in that offseason, won the Cup last season and played better this season. There’s still plenty of time left to turn this season around.
