  1. Myers reverted back to being the Myers we've known since coming to Van. Chaos giraffe, no IQ plays. Juulsen is just as useless, a clueless turnover machine. There's 1:20 left in the 3rd and your team is up 4-2. So, like any rational defenseman he chips it into the slot for a defenseman that isn't there yet instead of, oh idk, flipping the puck to centre ice, or banking it off the boards. Like he's never defended a lead in his life. Desharanais is also a pylon. Dude can't receive a pass, let alone keep his balance while receiving. Like Juulsen he blindly throws it into the slot thinking he can sauce like Hughes or something. These 3 guys are killing Vancouver defensively and leaving Demko in horrible situations that he would be lucky to recover from. Healthy scratch or send them to the minors. Maybe sitting out or having a brief stint down in the AHL will improve them.

  2. Worst they resigned him for next 3 yrs lol even he suck for past few yrs overpaid 5M cap

  3. I love tochett but that was the dumbest overtime coaching decision I've ever seen. Such an embarrassing final score.

  4. Goof means pedophile..
I guess you don’t realize that Lego..
You can call Myers a lot of things, but change this headline please

  5. Canucks are a goof. I was on the Canucks discord and suggested if petterson got in one fight I would not give him so muc sh*t. I got attacked to no end and have really come to the conslusion that the worst people on earth are cunacuks fans. OMG you people deserve no cup or anything. what a bunch of jerks.

  6. As terrible as that Myers OT play was, I have to ask, what the HELL was he even doing being on the ice in 3 on 3?! That's completely counter to the strengths of Myers as a big, veteran, but relatively immobile defenseman! Even with both Hronek and Hughes out of action, there's Branstrom and any of a 3 other d-men who are way better suited for 3 on 3 OT action then Tyler "freakin can't move" Myers. He can hit, sure, but at 3 on 3, getting a hit is a tall order for a slow guy. I have to give an assist to that Myers terrible play to Rick Tocchett on that one, what was he thinking having Myers on the ice in 3 on 3 OT?! Bad coaching move putting a guy out there who's play style, build and skills are totally the opposite of what you want in 3 on 3 OT action!

  7. Three of the top four who played the back end tonight were out of position. Myers is a second-pairing guy at best; he and Soucy have played great together since Soucy recently recaptured his form from last year. Forbort is nothing more than a third-pairing guy at this stage of his career. As much as I like and cheer for Juulsen, he's shown himself to currently be topped out as a 5/6 guy and Desharnais is no more than a 7th guy. Sloths skate faster than Desharnais and Forbort.
Asking Myers to play 3 on 3 is unfair, but who else do you throw out there with Brannstrom and Soucy gassed? I might have tried a three-forward set instead of putting Myers out there, but that's with 20/20 hindsight. Don't forget that one of Brock and Miller should have stayed back with Myers up, but both overcommitted which opened the ice up for a breakaway. The Canucks have a terrible 3-0-7 OT record this season, which means they were 3-0-6 WITH Quinn and Petey in the lineup. Something's wrong there.
Give Myers a break; he's on a value contract. He could have taken more money to play elsewhere, but he loves Vancouver, and as much as the fanbase complains about him, the coaches, WHO ACTUALLY KNOW SOMETHING, and his teammates love him! Look at the other D-Men the team could fit under the cap, Forbort and Desharnais; Myers is much better than both.
This team was missing half its top six players this game; the other three have missed significant time this season. The fact that the team is still in a playoff spot is a fantastic accomplishment, speaking to their depth at the NHL level and in Abby. If you had told me before the start of this game that the Canucks would get a point, I'd have been okay with that. The way this game ended was frustrating but not unexpected. Lace them up and go get Calgary on Tuesday. Then, take out your frustration on Seattle after that. We can only hope that as of tomorrow's press gaggle with Tocchet, Petey, and Quinn, will be day-to-day and not week-to-week.
