In their first game back at home after a four game Canadian road trip, the San Diego Gulls lost 3-1 to the Abbotsford Canucks. Abbotsford led early with goals from John Stevens and Aatu Räty, who added an empty-netter in the third. Roland McKeown scored late for the Gulls, but it wasn’t enough. Abbotsford’s Jiří Patera made 26 saves to secure the win.
