  1. Yeah, fans here locally are getting very Impatient with the Yzerplan. Steve has done a great job in the draft and identifying talent, free agency, and trades have been absolutely underwhelming

  2. I don't care there is no one I trust more the Yzerman and I'll die on that hill. I went through all of this in the 1980's and 90's. Championship teams aren't built over night.

  3. It's all not warranted. My question to anyone who wants Steve Yzerman's "head": Who do you replace with with and why? ………. Exactly.

  4. There is absolutely nothing wrong with holding Yzermans feet to the fire. Hes made some bad moves.. clearly.

  5. If it isnt the coaches, and it isnt the players, you only need a mirror when finger pointing to what the "problem" is.

  6. "if you have a better way you're free to share it with me" 😂

guy running the 5th worst team in the league 6 years into a rebuild 🤐

  7. Ok listen ppl have no patience anymore this isn't basketball or football one to 3 good top picks isn't going to make us a playoff team agian or a contender holl petery chariot even kane and tarasanko aren't apart of this team when we start competing for cups copp and comhpher might be here for a year or 2 of that but the other guys will be traded bought out or the contracts will be over we had to sign someone because if not the young guys would of just got thrown into the NHL and that would of hurt them as prospects we had to fill out the roster with nhl players could we of signed a bunch of cheap guys yes but stevie came here to improve the team he signed good nhl players and has drafted very well 2 best goalie prospects in the NHL seider home run pick raymond home run pick edvinsson looks like a home run pick kasper hes young hes adjusting dainelson looks good in the ahl asp looks like he could be a karlson makar level guy Emmitt finne a 7th round pick is on pace for over 100 points in the whl looks like a possible steal dimitri bucknikov looks unreal in the khl Jessie kisskienen looks very good in the lilga this year everyone wants to focus on all the negatives it takes time to rebuild to win cups it's to win cups not just make the playoffs I want those old dominant wings teams from when I was a kid not more of the 2010s wings idc abt playoffs I want a cup and you know what we need one more top 5 pick this year id even say top 3 after that were set and good luck to every other team we get a misa a mortone or a hagins good luck but anyway have some patience it takes time I don't wanna make the playoffs and lose round one rush it like the leafs did I wanna compete for a decade plus for Stanley cups

  8. Yzerman would resign and go elsewhere but he realizes that there is no other team in the league that would have him!

  9. People think a GM takes over and everything changes overnight. Not a single Gm in the world could have taken that red wings team over and had them as a cup contender now. That team was baaaad. Nobody has patience anymore. Did everything think McClellan would take over with one morning skate under his belt and suddenly change the entire identity of this team? So many mindless fans that think it’s easy to build a championship team with now clue what they’re talking about

  10. I think the problem rests with the current roster and chemistry, more than coaching or leadership. They all play a role, but this current team lacks "so much" offensively and defensively. Ultimately, the roster is the responsibility of the GM and ownership. McLellan is going to need some help from the front office to be able to turn things around.

  11. You think Larkin wants put with red wings cause he fed up loseing team

  12. The problem will rebuild a team you need get luck on certain year like 2015 was mcdavid and so on like red wings need to see when is hood way to chase for a legit good player

  13. They need find a legit superstar in draft which is very hard to find

  14. All this shows is that the new generation of fan has no patience or knowledge of what it takes to win. Show me a better Gm than Yzerman. People want miracles instead of dealing in actual fact. The organization is better than it was when he started. Period. Larkin was the best player he had to start with. Seider Raymond Casper and Edvinsson are budding stars. We have players coming in the system. Without a generational talent being available then you need to get extremely lucky. He is building for sustained success not just a quick playoff run for nothing. Needs a little help from the hockey GODS.
