It’s not how you start…it’s how you finish!

The Anaheim Ducks pulled off an improbable 5-4 comeback win after being down 4-1 against a Utah team that had been dominating the league. It wasn’t pretty—this game was filled with chaos, controversy, and some of the worst hockey we’ve seen from the Ducks. From Zellweger’s unlucky own goal to Fabbri’s standout performance, questionable non-calls, and a long-awaited power play breakthrough, the Ducks somehow found a way to force overtime and seal it in a shootout.

Despite Cronin’s baffling shootout choices, McTavish came through with a clutch snipe, and Dostal stood tall to secure the victory. It was a gutsy, gritty effort that proved it’s not how you start but how you finish.

The Ducks are back in action tonight at 7 PM against the Golden Knights, looking for their first win against them this season. Let’s make it two wins in a row for the Dads!

  1. Drysdale too small-gone, Fowler too soft-gone, Silfverberg too tired to make a difference-gone, Max Jones horrible wasted 1st round draft pick-gone, Lindholm soft and unable to lead-gone, Henrique nice guy way past prime for his salary-gone….etc. It's taken far too long to clean house, but it's finally happening and these manboys are being led now by grown ass men who aren't softies just here to collect a check and enjoy the beach.

  2. Have to agree on the Leo take as well. Good learning opportunity for him. Thank you for not having brain dead biased takes 🙌

  3. the ducks were really struggling most game. it was hard to watch. but im glad i watched the whole thing. i thought fabbri wasn't really like himself after he came back from injury until tonight.

  4. The entire game had me on the edge, so glad the comeback actually happened especially ending it with the W great first period but the next 30 minutes was a nightmare an thankfully a strong finish, keep them wins going

  5. I was at this game with my dad who's a utah fan and man it was a good time! Im happy I gotta watch the boys have a comeback. Also there was a lot of fellow ducks fans there! I had no idea there were so many of us in utah haha

  6. You can take the team out of Arizona, but you can’t take the Arizona out of the team

  7. Ngl I’m surprised I haven’t busted my voice box from all the screaming I’ve been doing. The ducks are on fire

  8. this team will play great and lose and then play horribly and win no wonder they're so inconsistent. Poor Leo he's just a lil guy

  9. Know the saying but know a lot of things where starting strong is much better. Most times ending strong comes short because they “dig” themselves into a hole that is too big to get out of.

  10. Wow…what a comeback. It wasn’t pretty …in fact it was pretty ugly. Utah just got delivered a lump of coal for Christmas from the Ducks! Hope the fight continues…we’ll take wins anyway they can get them. Ho Ho Ho Ducks!!!!
