  1. Everyone needs to stop criticizing the team if u do that your clearly not a real fan and you need to go band wagon florida or vancover or some team where u can stop complaining about issues, the real fans stick through thick and thin however long it takes for the team to be good again, without heckling your own team.

  2. Larkin needs to get himself together…. i mean, my God, the dude looks like he's stressed to the max and about to cry over this clearly good thing.

  3. Now THAT is how a head coach should talk. Great presser! What a contrast to his predecessor.

  4. It's two issues. First, the coaching hasn't been good. The players tuned out Lalonde and the system wasn't tailored to the talent. Second, we have too many older veterans who have no business playing significant minutes in the NHL in 2024/25. Todd and his staff is a big upgrade. Next, we need to part ways with certain veterans and replace them with trades and young players.

  5. Yeah but some of this Stevie Y s fault to .how come we don't hit ppl how come we didn't get a tough d- man in off season why did we get rid of perron how come moriz seider isn't aloud to hit any more.thst is on Stevie Y not lalonde

  6. How about banning media availability after a loss? How about after losing THE ENTIRE TEAM shuts the F up and looks at the reels and hits the gym for an hour instead of recapping their miscues for the brain dead press corps? Make losing painful, boring or embarrassing and maybe they'll decide they won't accept it anymore.

  7. You could just tell by the responses of Larkin and Kane; they are glad to move forward from lalonde. Expect a win tonight. Probably a fluke win; but, especially being since the Leafs are struggling themselves, wouldn't be surprised if each of these 3 guys gets a point. Really excited to see how this new tandem improves the penalty kill and, more importantly, improves what we have here in defenseman.

  8. Thank God no more… the analytics were good. Lalonde should never coach again, should be in jail.

  9. Wait, and where is San Jose now? Near dead last? Theyre not even developing Celebrini, the supposed "Top Pick Prospect of the Draft". Theyre already using him theyre so desperate. I think Iginla has played once. Theyre developing his game while Celebrinis already on the ice, and earning that paycheck, right? Sharks suck!

  10. Love how he is upfront and straight forward. Also shoutout to him for mentioning the post game preferences with the players. Everyone needs to be held with accountability

  11. Temper your expectations. He’s coming in mid-season and it’s gonna take a bit to change things around. Clearly he knows where the team is in terms of vibes so I think he’ll at least be able to clean that up by the end of the season.

  12. love what he said about the different aspects of physicality, already can tell this head coach is going to be better than lalondeā¤

  13. Bring back hey hey hockeytown šŸšØšŸ™ this generation for a rebuild is an embarrassment,…"LET'S GO REDWINGS"

  14. This is the coach we need. Detroit needs someone gritty that says holds players accountable and gives them a reason to play, we don't need someone telling us we can't or we shouldn't be here, or there's no stars in the room. You disrespect the guys in that room, they don't want to play for you at all. A good coach doesn't teach players how to play, he teaches them how to play for him. There's a reason Torts's players want to run through a wall for him.

  15. Still worried about Larkin. His monotone responses and 1000-mile stare don't fill me with confidence.
