They should get rid of him. Pr get bit by his injuries again in the playoffs. He's just not durable at all. Deal him now. Bring someone else in amd create comradery now
They need to trade sims as his market is at the highest value it will be at.
Merry Christmas
What about Hokporte? I feel like he’s a good bench big man
Yes!
Trade Mitch for 2 1st!
Bring Donte back!
Why would we trade Mitch for someone not as good as mitch nor as cheap?
Thibodeau don’t play his bench so small trades for Knicks are irrelevant
Im fine with Knicks staying Pat at this point, honestly. Id only be willing to flip rookies at this point.
Donte’s heart belongs in NYC not in Minnesota
I would love Donte to come back to New York
look into POELTL if anyone….could be our next IHART
forget ddv…dont need him..
Lol dude said state was an entertaining follow 😂😂😂
I’d love Donte to return but I just can’t imagine the T-wolves doing the Knicks any favors after this bust of a trade.
Swear a nice portion of Knicks fans are a little challenged. The only player we should think about possibly moving is Sims. Any trade for Mitch yields a player that isn't even as good and may cost more. Yes, you may not like that Mitch is injury prone, but with KAT as our starting 5, Mitch can come off the bench and bully opposing teams reserves (defensively of course) much in the same way he abused Jarrett and Mobley when we eliminated them in the postseason 2 years ago. Additionally, only 10 players league wide played all 82 games last season. So we need to adjust our expectations accordingly.
Lastly, This team is set. Put the crack down and get used to having a core of players around for years to come instead of playing it like it's 2K not looking at contracts, return of adequate talent and fit of that new piece/chemistry.
I’m down to aroldis Chapman Donte.
I feel it’s a tough call whether Mitch stays or goes. If Mitch can return to his full contact form he would be a major contributor as a rim protector however he’ll become a free agent next season. Those ankle surgeries and time missed playing will make things more challenging. What will his market value be? And he isn’t much of a scorer. Id say trade him if the right deal can be made. He seems like a good guy so in general it would be hard to see him leave.
We’ve played much better with sims in the rotation. He’s obviously not a scorer but his rebounding, athleticism, and defense have made a huge impact in multiple games for us. It makes no sense to trade him for another center that’s a mediocre defender who scores 10-15 a game. We have more than enough offensive firepower. What we’re missing compared to last season is elite defense, offensive rebounding, second chance points, and forced turnovers. We have the best offense in the league. We obviously don’t need another scorer.
Without Mitch we don’t have a good enough defense to contend for a title. Did nobody watch the playoffs last year? Mitch was the most important guy on the court for the Knicks.
Wow film sessions whaa
Deandre Ayton? How do the Knicks match his 34mil salary? And why would they want another offensive big that doesn’t defend that well? They already have KAT.
Bring back Donte and leave Randle in Minnesota 😂
As soon as Mitch plays 10 games in a row & he shows he’s healthy trade him
Robinson will never be fit.
Get Sims off this team ASAP
Divinchenzo needs to get back but we HAVE to keep Sims! Need that strength in the frontcourt
If the Knicks aren’t confident in Mitch remaining healthy, then no team will be interested in him. Sims salary won’t allow the Knicks to bring back anyone that can help us without adding an additional player. If we trade Sims and Achiuwa then we are totally dependent on the health of our remaining bigs and whomever we trade for. Also it takes time to integrate any one into Thibs system.
Some yall really obsessed with Devo we traded him get over it hes playing bad and if we were to make a trade we need a big man defense and rebounding
Mitch def getting traded, would love to see Donte back
Sims is the only true defensive presence in the middle on the team. Trading him would be foolish.
I can't see Leon Rose moving Sims for second roun d picks.. The Knicks have eight second rd picks so why would they give up a Guy who can rebound, set picks and defend the Rim for low second round picks. Also we don't know about Mitch and his health. Bruce Brown would be a good pickup from Toronto but who would we trade to Toronto to get him at his salary which is high
Dont want DD back this is not last year's team move on already we have towns and mikal he wont get shots like last year anyway
sims can go
