  1. There was a hook from behind but the official rules state the player must be on a breakaway. That clearly wasn't a breakaway and should've been a minor penalty. ….. Also the ref let them take another shot before blowing the whistle. Like he decided right then that he wanted to give it to them. 🙄

  2. Not sure how that rated a penalty shot? You can clear the front of your net any other time. NHL Reffing has hit another new low.

  3. OK, let me try to help the slow people. The defenseman was behind Jack. He then had his stick parallel to the ice as he was hooking Jack in the hands, from behind. It's the correct call. If you need more help understanding this play it at .25 speed and watch the 3 second mark. If you don't think that's a penalty, and a penalty shot, then you don't know when one should be called.

  4. the only thing insane about this is that they called a penalty shot for a stick check. weak call ref.

  5. why did the ref blow the whistle after the great save by smith while the puck was in play and buffalo got possession back first? oh well. ill take the W Lets Go Buffalo!!!

  6. Just noticed he's using a 1s stick. Surprised Bauer doesn't give him a 1s wrapped to look like a 2s Pro or something…

  7. Notice how Jack didn't throw his arms up in the air and scream penalty shot, he just calmly passed the puck back to his teammate
