  1. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚Lego no one thought he would have a career year here and heโ€™s on pace to do so so idk what tf ur talking about I usually agree this take is wild

  2. Given there's all this talk about how DeBrusk and Guenzel compare, I'll point out the huge ELEPHANT in the room that Lego seems to be completely missing, in spite of how blazingly obvious it is. DeBrusk is YOUNGER then Guenzel. Yes, he's YOUNGER, that means he's NOT FINISHED DEVELOPING YET. Whereas Guenzel is in his PRIME, meaning he's as good as he's ever going to be. DeBrusk has the POTENTIAL to get much better. Yes, he's streaky, maybe he always will be, but if he develops at full potential into an 80 or 90 point guy, I'd call him an equivalent producer to Guenzel. Yes, Guenzel can drive the production of a line NOW, and DeBrusk can't, but that doesn't mean that will always be that way, as DeBrusk improves, and with the opportunities he's getting currently, he can most definitely improve a LOT, he MAY be able to in a couple of years, while Guenzel may have faded out of that capability by then. So yeah, I'd say at worst case scenario, DeBrusk is a very good consolation prize and someone who can yet work out to be a big part of our team far into the future.

EDIT: To clarify, there are a few all caps phrases which may make someone THINK I'm angry, I'm not, I just use that as an alternate to bold face in this case since there is no bold feature in YT comments that I can find. The points that ARE raised in the video are valid points, and I agree with them for the most part, just the age thing was heavily underplayed and not brought up with as much relevance is it should be, both in this video and the references to the article.

  3. In a way a pointless discussion. Worst case scenario for me. Defense is not good at all. The team is about ten pounds lighter per player than the top teams. I think of us as a bubble team and will have to fight for a Wild Card spot. And Petey needs a big guy to play with who will protect him. He seems so weak at times. Guys like Guentzel or Kucherov someone gives them a cheap shot it is a fight every time. Top players on Vancouver are not afforded that kind of protection. And it is sad they have never looked for that type of player who can play. A very passive team. Seems so many times the fans want skilled players with little or no toughness. We got a lot of things right with the team but there is still a lot more work. Three below average defensemen. And they will not get better. I hope things get better because as of now there is a good chance of missing the playoffs and even then I don't give us a chance to win the cup. We seemed a lot stronger last year. And the team was much more fun to watch last year.

  4. Wow Captain Obvious Guentzel top tier player. Playing with a non toxic team with top tier players.

Debrusk is on career high pace playing with a toxic locker room and is clearly on Ep40 side as when Miller was out of the line up Debrusk put up good numbers and disappeared when Miller came back so your opinion is off on this one
