“Non ball knowers”, huh. Well, the results appear to speak for themselves. But I guess we’ll see
All I know is DA Hawks are playing much better under new leadership and that’s all that matters. I’m glad because nice to have one Chicago sports playing well and maybe two with the Bulls at least till they trade LaVine & Vuc.
I’m never a commenter, but this is a joke, right??? Jones has shown himself to be a D player who stands still, watches the puck, regularly loses his man, sucks momentum out of offensive rushes, AND is overpaid and taking away ice time from players who should be getting more. As a fan, there is little to nothing to like about him and the team plays better when he’s out. Playing him is a sunk cost fallacy at this point. He was nearly zeros across the stat board yesterday (saved by 1 blocked shot), very “go girl, give us nothing” for nearly 27 minutes of ice time (except standing still while the Flames net 2 on his watch). 🙄 Seth came back and it was like all the joy this team was playing with was sucked out of the room again. He’s had plenty of chances to learn/grow/mesh with the team and he clearly no longer matches the Hawks team energy, that was made obvious in yesterday’s game. It’s time to move on from him.
Trade him straight up for Panarin
He’s awful
arguably the most overpaid player on the team* actually, not arguable it’s just a literal fact to every human being that has eyeballs
#4 is a liability. The sheer number of offensive rushes that go around him like he is standing still (oh wait HE IS standing still) is humiliating to NHL caliber clubs. Granted he plays against top lines but he also makes brutal mistakes on the power play and PK as well. Is it coincidence that the semi better play recently coincides with Seth's injury time off the ice?
he doesn’t “suck” but he’s also not a great player and at 9.5 he might be the worst contract in the entire league, what are we talking about and he’s “one of” our best defensemen gtfo here with that
ya are "non-ball-knowers" if you dont think Seth Jones is a liability and pretty much awful
