I know if i didn't learn to get along with hard to manage employees i'd be toast, and yet these over paid babies that don't give a damn about winning the cup and only about money can do what they want because they have the best union in the world……Pathetic !

I hope the media takes responsibility for there part in this mess .. the locker room needs to be closed to the media .. let the players work it out without the media throw there opinion and nonsense into it looking for a story…. I think the Vancouver media is a cancer in itself

Petey is not worth 93 mill…JT has a huge ego & childish temper….Boeser has been invisible….Myers is god awful…Soucy has his head stuck up his a**….Joshua can't find the intensity he used to have….Tocchet is obviously losing the room ….. shall I go on????

The lack of shoots on net is disgusting to watch.
I'm pretty sure our Third liners like Yanik Hansen could manage a couple shots on goal 10 plus years ago.
Is Hughes the only player that can drive the puck to the net or go from one end to the other.
Peterson and Miller have both had great moments, but neither is close to The sedins shadow.
We need a better number 1 and 2 center.
We need a couple superstars on the top lines if we're going anywhere.

In case anyone hadn’t noticed, playoff hockey is Tocchet hockey and thank God for that as that is when we see hockey that actually matters. I, as a longtime fan, would at the very least like to see a team that competes each and every game to get there. I want players who compete each and every game and who are not bigger than the TEAM and who do not complain about the market being too difficult to play for.
Miller needs to go. Hes not getting any younger and only becoming more of a douche. He has been a problem every where he has played.
Is ‘Tocchet’s System’ where high powered creative offence goes to die?
If the 5 top scorers all go quiet at the same time, that is on the coach.

The disfunction and lack of consistent effort has been evident during the entire era of this core group. It cost Travis Green and Bruce Boudreau their jobs. To suggest that it is a failing of Rick Tocchet’s that he has been unable to solve this problem seems unfair. It’s time for management to identify exactly where the problem lies (obviously, not with Hughes or Demko) and to make significant changes to the core of this team if they ever hope to be a true contender.

2024 playoffs – Boeser 12 pts, Miller 12, Hughes 10, Joshua 8, Pettersson 6. Miller isn’t the weak link.
Pettersen is too weak, physically, mentally.
When both guys are playing who goes quiet. Petterson. And I don’t mean the last few games. I mean from last years all star break. You guys need to wake up and look way back. Trade Petterson. Get a good package for him. JT Miller even though he is older he has way more qualities compared to Petterson. Some one who always throws reverse hits is a pussy. Or baby as JT Miller said. Is the Hughes strategy on offence hurting the total offence. Having Hughes walk the blue line and firing long distance hoping for a tip or loose puck. Not a strategy that is working.

Canucks media is so doom and gloom. Given how we've had changing lineups all year with injuries/leaves and only had recent games with all the boys back (Still missing our 2nd best defencemen). We lose 2-3 games and it's time to trade the whole team and everything is just over? The vegas game was a back to back and wasn't even that bad with plenty of good looks.
I remember taking my young boys to Penticton for the Young Star’s, and my boys asked Petey to sign their Sedin Jersey which he did politely, we pointed out the jersey was signed by both Sedin’s , the look in his eyes, and reply made me think he was already the reluctant star.

"Teammates". When you have a disfunctional 'Team' it means all the leaders.. coaches, captain, star players, vets aren't stepping up to resolve the issues. Someone is creating toxicity and no one has the balls to address it.
I'm sorry, these guys are paid LITERALLY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!, and have played this game A DECADE, at least, and a COUPLE OF DECADES for some… It should not be UP TO THE COACH to "get them ready to play". Stop making excuses for your players, Tocchet. They SHOULD KNOW what this game is about by now, and they SHOULD BE responsible enough, with MILLIONS of $$$$$$ in paycheques suggesting YOU PLAYERS should be able to DO YOUR OWN WORK! It's just ridiculous to say, at those salaries, that and excuse like, "I just didn't have it tonight", should be acceptable.

Trade miller and a pick for a decent center and a defenceman, increases your cap space. Then if tocchet doesn’t like it then don’t keep him and swap him for the Abbotsford coach
