It defeats the purpose if we make the playoffs it will give false confidence that we have the team/players to win it which is not the case just blow it up what are we waiting for?
It is indeed better to focus on the off-season/next season, rather then trying to salvage this season. Trade away some players to make room for future free agents and allow more chances for the Rangers prospects to remain on the roster long term.
Drury, Lav and the d coach need to go now.
D had been poor for 2 yrs. Lav cannot come back from this disaster.
Drury destroyed the team.
Buch trade was horrendous, kakko move will not age well either. Basically cutting 2 fierce team leaders ended the 24, 25 season before it even started.
The returns on all of these moves has been zilch.
Make Peca interim coach. If he coaches like he played we could have something.

Lastly, did Lafrenier get sent down to Juniors?. I haven't seen him in the lineup for a month. This is his opportunity to become the leader of this team. Step the hell up!
This team has officially been exposed. Way too complacent, soft, very little leadership. I don't know if it's necessarily just on Drury, but we could probably benefit from having a different GM. Lindgren, Miller, and Mika must go.
Nobody is saying it’s laviolettes fault fully it’s the pathetic players faults but laviolette clearly has lost the room and keeping him on serves no purpose he still gives the vets too much of a role
