  1. Ya he had to face the music like my cousin said! But things are looking great for the future, demidov, laine, hutson, suzuki, caufield

  2. F CBJ, Johnny well deserved 🤫🤷‍♂️. CBJ mentally broke our Laine. I have no sympathy for crappy franchise or their players

  3. It's hilarious that even with a fire lit under their asses, the Blue Jackets came close to losing the game. If it wasn't for the obvious holding penalty that went completely ignored by the refs on Gallagher just before their fifth goal, I have bo doubt the Habs would've taken it. But they don't have a losing culture. Trust me bro… even though the CBL organisation said it themselves.

  4. I wish you Josh and Jesse, a Merry Christmas and a great 2025! Thankyou for your wonderful podcast…I look forward to it!

  5. Of course they were targeting his injured shoulder , after what he was dumb enough to say why wouldnt they..my question is where was xhejai and anderson to look after him?? No where to be found cus MSL have them playing soft hockey….if MSL is so clueless to not think cbj was gonna do that do Laine then wtf is he doing coaching. Its an easy protection, you put newhook in the press box where he belongs , move Anderson up to Laines line and put pezzeta in the line up and have Xhejai on the ice when Laine is at 5 on 5 …but noooooo msl didnt do that and no we are fucked again

  6. Saw an article arguing Habs should ship Dach, Mailloux and a draft pick to Buffalo for Cozens. Dach and draft pick i can understand, why Mailloux?

  7. Guys open your eyes it is so easy to see how much better Laval is coached then the Habs . Laval is ready to play every night and have better structure in the ice Habs are all over the place missing the concept of team play it's all good they will be bottom 3 at end of Jan and Laval will be on the top 3

  8. I think they took out Laine out if the game as a prevention, because they saw he was targeted.

  9. Laine shouldn't have said it and it motivated the Bluejackets and possibly went too far. What's done is done. The road trip into Sunrise, Tampa, and Vegas are going to be very tough. I remember especially how much the Panthers have been trouble for the Habs over the past two decades at least. One thing I'm hoping is any points from the rest of the road trip up to New Years Eve and possibly Hutson keeping his new game point streak going.

  10. Imagine trying your best, even trying a different role/pos to spark up team game while your 9.5 mil guy puts up a beer league warm up like games. I'd get depressed aswell having to deal with stuff like that and on top of that when you demand and try to hold your teammates responsible on developing their game, they try to smoke you out of the team by going to management.. and of course when some honest words are said, they try to gaslight even more.

  11. Zach Werenski's comments after the game that they were good friends and good teammates to Laine was such a crock of…you know what. My gut believes Patrick. The evidance believes Patrick. Yes, I do believe that they (B.J's) did head hunt Laine. Mony would not have signed if he knew that Gaudreau wasn't gonna be there. I bet that Mony told the guys that it was wrong to head hunt #92. Hat Trick Laine all the way, I believe. Next game B.J's get whooped 7-2.

  12. I really don't care that Laine is hurt, he opened his mouth and talked bad about players, they taught him a lesson

  13. Now that I’ve been writing comments on Montreal Canadiens Habs YouTube channels, it got me thinking—maybe we should create a HabsTalk WhatsApp group. Just a HabsTalk-only group. I’d love that! What do you think?
We can call it habs world wide fans.
Fans from all over the world

  14. I love how Lainehas helped Montreal's PP but I think he should not have said those comments about Columbus. Merry Christmas 🎄 Josh and Jesse (Habs Digest team)

  15. I think that most what Laine said was mutual.
If the columbus could realize hes talent, he could do some really damage there.
Laine shouldn't open he's mouth about this, but he couldn't bc the nature he is/or has become with.
Laine is not injured badly, Jesse has the right points for that.

Have to say, I like your videos and you are making good job about analyzing the most entertaining sport. Keep it going guys! (Subbed) And merry christmas, you deserve it and keep it up fellas!

  16. Never talk about your ex's. or last jobs. Laine needs to close his mouth, 2 teams, don't make it 3… That said, he said nothing bad, did not bash teammates, it's just the organization were happy with losing. I think the past the message to Columbus the wrong way.

  17. Anyone saying Laine shouldn’t have said it is too old school, he had a shitty time there and wanted to make a point of saying that, fuck CBJ for being whiny pussies.

  18. Je serais curieux de voir les stats de Cole Caufield depuis le retour de Laine… il semble avoir pas mal ralenti!!

  19. Joyeux to all, Laval's success, Is it the coach, really giving Logan, Adam, Beck and Roy a structure to learn in?
Would Dach need waivers to go down and get some quality time down in Laval?

  20. I wonder if the injury was pre-meditatted. People say Columbus said they only did that just because of some things he said and its pathetic they would want to do that for that reason. If it was pre-meditatted how is that different than bounty gate when the New Orlleans Saints used to target to injure some players, it seems like that to me and they are going to get away with this, and I thought this was a league that wanted to focus more on skill than on goonery, its bullshit.

  21. Lifelong Habs fan comment here. Laine completely out of line. Those types of comments have real repercussions for CBJs ability to attract and retain talent. Completely classless and uncalled for, especially coming from a guy who underperformed for them and left the team due to his own shortcomings. Any Habs fan who thinks his comments were above board should seriously imagine how the shoe would feel on the other foot.

  22. I’m a recent addition to the Habs Digest followers, and as a sports editor for a small town newspaper here in Vermont, just across the border from the Pat Burns Arena in Stanstead, Quebec, I just wanted to say I appreciate the quality of your videos, especially the attention to detail.
