With the Holiday break right around the corner, TSN Hockey analyst Bruce Boudreau joins Domino’s That’s Hockey to rank all seven Canadian teams at this point in the season in List It.
Near perfect list, Edmonton belongs on top, Winnipeg going 9-9 since the miracle start is the difference here. Vancouver should be lower than Ottawa but Bruce is biased
It’s a good first year getting into watching the NHL as someone from Winnipeg! My second favourite teams to watch are the Oilers and Ottawa. At the end of the day I just hope a Canadian team wins the cup!
Of course the Winnipeg Jets are #1 in Canada. When they are on their game they are a powerhouse. Top offensive team with the best goalie and a +44 goal differential.
Edm over the jets is actually a joke at this point into the season. Once again you can't take the oilers.seriois with their backend and goaltending. Going on 15 years of saying the same thing.
Everyone’s on acid thinking the jets are not the best team in the NHL regular season. I still need some convincing that they can do it in the playoffs, but as soon as Samberg gets healthy, jets are going to go on a big run again!
Winnipeg born, Jets fan for life. I have the Jets ranked 4th behind EDM, TOR and VAN. The reason the Jets have so many points is due to 1 person… VEZINABUCK! Connor Hellebuyck is the best goalie in the league. When he's hot, the Jets win. When he's just good, they usually win. But, if he plays anywhere below good or they have their back up in, they lose. It's VERY rare that the Jets can win games for Helly. What has happened in the last 2 playoff series? The Jets were completely overwhelmed and Helly didn't play great, so they lost. "IF" the Jets can get a TOP RHD and a #2 Center that can be more of a 1B type center… then and only then do they have a chance to go past the first round. Built as they are right now, they are too dependent on Helly.

I mean Oilers are great, but making them #1 is wild. The Jets beat Edmonton 6-1 and are killing them in a ton of stats, wins, scoring, saves, pp etc.

Ottawa has to play over 700 the remaining of the season? we’re in eighth place now making the playoffs so the teams behind us have to go over 700.

Oilers have the best forward depth in the league. When Kane gets healthy they'll have another top 6 forward and RNH will move down to play 3C.
