The NHL Dept of Player Safety is a joke and since the refs sometimes either miss or choose to ignore cheap shot hits, Mike Grier needs to go out and get a player who will dole out vigilante justice. Barbaric yes, but Celebrini is lucky he was not badly hurt on that play. For us grey beards, we all remember Kings Dustin Brown ending Tomas Hertl’s stellar rookie season by accidentally-on-purpose blowing out his knee with a cheapshot.
The instigator penalty is always worth it in the long run as long as you show that you're willing to take it at the first sign of your best player being punked

Maybe if pickles and cooch would retire we could afford an enforcer

I bet if Ceci goes after him and punches his face in the refs retroactively call that a boarding to appease everyone
It's almost like the game was intentionally fixed for Utah so they can go into the playoffs and generate more fans and money.

The NHL is a steaming, smelly pile of feces.
Worst officiating I’ve since in 5 years at least
Hire a good fighter, next time a player does that to Celebrini, take him out. Celebrini is worth more than the whole Utah franchise
Textbook crosschecking and boarding, right in front of a ref. Still no call. League is a joke.
