I don't think there's nothing wrong with Laine. It was just wise move from the coach (The Jackets tried to hurt him so it was better to take Laine off before something serious happens because his knee is not fully healed)
So Laine was right? (Werenski just said in a post game interview they gave their 100% because of what Laine said). This was exactly what Laine meant, the Jackets is not normally playing with heart, no matter if you win or lose if you give your best for the fans. The CBJ players admitted it post game interviews they targeted Laine.
I see no positive reason why Laine would make those comments publicly especially before a game against them, thought overall Habs played hard finally saw some flashes from Dach, it's all between his ears once he settles that he will get on track. Once again Matheson was terrible. I have no idea why he gets a lot of minutes, he is a turnover waiting to happen and he is soft. If Hughes was on his game he would trade him by the deadline before he has no value at all.

The Blue Jackets were mad because they know what he said was true. They should be thanking him for the motivation.
