Let me start by saying I am a Leaf fan forever. But people what did you think was going to happen this year? It’s the same team!
These guys come up with the same excuses time and time again. This team will not go far in the playoffs. Second round at most. I don’t understand why this team sucks as much as they do. They talk about change, and it only revolves around everyone else except for the core 4 and Morgan Reilly. I don’t get it. There really is no change to this team by keeping these same players year after year. And people are wondering why they can’t come close to winning a Stanley Cup I wonder why.

Not going to be champions with Reilly, Benoit, Timmins, Myers, OEL…. and soft soft forwards like Nylander, Marner, Mathews. Might look ok in regular season ( might) but never go far with those soft forwards and 4 sub par D.
Even when they lose, this group of soft country club players are never down on their play. They think they always play well, lol…. no grit, no balls, not going far.

Let's be honest Schiefele's goal to make it 4-1 shouldn't have counted and the ref should have blown the play down. The puck was under Woll's Pad & it was dug out which is not allowed and the play should been blown dead. Get a Guy In Front Of The Net On The Powerplay. Blaming Woll for this is just stupid. How can you expect your goaltender to constantly make spectacular saves on evry 2 on 1 against and 3 on 1 against every time, especially when they're happening several times in the game. The Leafs Defense looks lazy lately lackluster as well.
Morgan rielly has been awful this year get him a proper d partner or move him because honestly he hasn’t been much better than Timmons and he’s paid 6million more.
