Didn’t appear to be malicious. Tkachuk was reaching for the puck and his leg was way out there. Kucherov runs into him. Unfortunate play but I don’t think it’s suspension worthy.
Kucherov is in market that if he misses any games the Tampa sales will fall from 4500$ per game to 3300$…nhl can’t afford to suspend him at all.

As a neutral party who isn’t a big fan of either team, Kucherov definitely did that on purpose, & it was definitely dirty. I understand not liking MT’s game & style, but that doesn’t justify dirty play like that.. Just have one of your guys beat on him rather than trying to end his career.
