So, what, up side for the Leafs, can we send you killer 1.0 yet again? Who the hell cares what would be good for TO? For that reason alone, I'd say get stuffed. Connys not in this to help anyone, ya Kadri is not going to be part of a cup team on the ice in Calgary, but he may just be part of the team that can win because he was here while the players that would win were becoming that team?
Plus, Tre screwed the Flames? He made calls that were big time black marks and then washed his hands of it. I like many things he did here. I get there was likely push back from ownership he didn’t want to deal with. End of the day they own the team. Why would they do anything to make his life there happy?
No way they can pay enough to make this deal happen. The more likely trade is to the team that takes T.O. out in the playoffs. Or to Dallas to ensure the Oil go no where. There are things you just don’t do as a Flame.

I’d love to send Kadri to Toronto, wouldn’t even want much back tbh. Hes temperamental, lost a step already this year, and honestly goes from pretty good to boneheaded in streaks.

I would do this trade for domi straight up plus 2 mil retention
Nobody is doing anyone a favor in a Kadri to TO trade. Just send him for future considerations. If they want us to retain salary, then we should be getting an asset or two as compensation.

The Laffs don't have the cap space or assets to make a trade for Kadri work. What the Flames will want in return to retain money for 4 seasons, the laffs won't give up.

Nothing against Mathews but he’s just like Sundin, scores a lot of points with no real results. The style of hockey is useless without physically dominant players and run and gun gets clobbered in the playoffs.

JT not a 2nd line C? 22pts in 23 games so far, +7….what defines a 2nd line center? and Naz is the same age as JT…love Naz but saying he's better than JT is disengenius…they're dif and bring dif elements, but scoring only they are on the same playing field imo.oh wait Naz played 26 games has 16 pts and is a – 12 (not that + – is the be all of course cuz we know it ain't)

I'm a flames fan and I beg and pray for Nazem to go elsewhere. That guy has a good reputation in the league that his play doesn't backup. Look up his hitting stats. He isn't actually that much of a pest anymore. The only people he pisses off are flames fans and refs
