talking about ice time… the very next game against philly rod gave him two MINUTE AND A HALF shifts at the end of a tie game. aho’s line (they had a terrible game) didn’t even get out there. marty rewarded them with the go ahead goal late.
he’s unlocked an all new level. and you guys didn’t even get into some of his off-puck/defensive stuff, which early on has been MASSIVELY improved as well.
also robinson has been great for the canes, and KK looks as good as he has with the canes despite only one goal (does have seven or eight assists though).
Haven't been able to watch as many games as I'd like this year so a lot of these I'm seeing for the first time, the most striking difference I'm seeing in Necas' game from these highlights is unselfishness. This speed and agility are things he's shown in the past but he's had a tendency to hold on to the puck too long and try to play hero, a lot of these plays I'm seeing here are being created because he's drawing the attention that his skill warrants then dishing it out to the open guy. Its great to see, I've always liked Necas but felt that his game didn't mesh well with Rod's system. It feels like he's finally buying in and playing the team game, and he's reaping the rewards. Hopefully it keeps up, if Necas plays like this in the postseason they'll be a force.
We don’t count Jake Guentzal as losing him. The Canes were a great team before him. He was a rental and is a bum for how he and his wife acted!!!!

All I said all off season…Necas is him….Necas deserves a contract…..was I wrong 😂😂 My Necas Whalers jersey was so worth it (Canes better extend him before the end of the season)

crazy canucks didnt trade peterson for him we could have goten 1st round pick and some other assests plus we could have signed him for 8 mill 8 years instead of paying petterson 11.6 mill. crazy
