Swayman got caught daydreaming about how much of a hero he was for raising the goalie salaries market. Every goalie can make a few good saves. An 8 million dollar goalie needs to make more good saves and not let in weak goals. Both goals were weak.
I mentioned it earlier, A puck at Swaymans feet he will escort that puck to the back of his net, he has difficulty with pucks along the ice. Troubling to day the least.
I gave him a Mulligan on goal #2 and then #3. Swayman isn't stealing games any more than he has teams frustrated. Is this going to be a situation where he starts to get decent again a few years from now and everyone talks about how he had to grow into his contract? What's the big deal- trade, sign, etc? Many times it's better than waiting for someone to mature whilst the rest of the team turns over once already.
This team needs draft picks they are bad. And the Atlantic is slowly starting to change.
