Is this the WORST organization in North American sports?

With the Buffalo Sabres now losing TWELVE straight games, on track to miss the playoffs for the 14th straight season – I wanted to dive deeper into why the Sabres have failed to escape the NHLs basement.

I hope you enjoy the video!

  1. This is a great video 👌

Also the last time buffalo had success in the playoffs was in Bruce Almighty 😅

  2. Calgary LAMES fan here.
I thought my team without a dobout has the worst NHL organization in the League..
Until i cam across this utter and unmitigated atrocity that is BUFFALO SABRES
What a Mess this organization is… just unimaginable pain and misery for their most loyal fans.. those people, i really sincerly feel bad for.
( even if I hated this team for any reason or other)
No fan base should endure and suffer this much Pain !!

  3. To me the Leafs will always be the worst in sports until they win a cup, just for how they torture their fanbase year in and year out. Buffalo is just kinda depressing and apathy inducing. They’re the Jets of the NHL.

  4. NHL needs relegation, that would prevent this hopelessness,or at least make it less likely, nhl would have to unf** a few things to manage it but lots of other sports leagues do it.If you don’t meet a certain standard, you’re gone, now that’s pressure.

  5. Buffalo fan. Grew up during the Bills longest active playoff drought. Living through the longest NHL playoff drought in history.

What do we need to do to improve? Set the consecutive loss record at 19 in a row. Being tied for longest losing streak at 18 is bullshit. Ties don’t count.

Then, ship the team to Quebec. These bums couldn’t score in a women’s prison if they had a stack of Presidential pardons.

  6. The "funny" thing is, they lost just as much with Jack Eichal, Ryan Oreily, Evander Kane, Robin lehne, Sam Reinhart, Linus Ullmark, Matt Moulson, Brian Gionta,Kyle Okposo … couldnt win with them, now no top vets and young prospects who cant get over the hump.

  7. NY Jets are waaaaaay worse and it's not even close. Unless Terry Pagulas kid nixed a real NHL trade bc the player the Sabres were acquiring had a too low a rating in Chel, we are comparing apples and antelopes.

  8. Sabres: ”We need some fresh ideas, something new. Things have got to change. Um
 Let’s hire Lindy Ruff.”

  9. “And after a promising start to this season” That’s VERY generous. Sabres only had 1 win after the first 6 games. They got it together in mid November and at their very best (November 23rd) the Sabres had 23 points in 21 games which put them on an 89-90 point pace. Unsurprisingly they only spent a few days in the playoff picture before getting sent right back into the basement. Technically the Habs spent more days in the playoff picture than the Sabres did. Only difference is the Sabres did it later into the season.

  10. New ownership a real front office not in house hires being cheap that’s why pegula so successful with bills have people in place and tell him back off let us do our job he has his hand everything in the hockey organization it’s starts there

  11. As a Devils fan I have a lot of sympathy for Sabers fans. For a long time it was us Devils that were right there alongside the Sabers for the two longest playoff droughts. Wasn't until the Devils made the playoffs two seasons ago that ours finally ended. Now fast forward to this year and the Devils are one of the most dominant teams in the league. Hopefully the Sabers manage to turn things around as well. On paper they've got a pretty good looking team and realistically they should have one of the best defensive cores in the league. Their top 4D are just ridiculously good.

  12. They need a serious GM.
I didn't miss a game from 2011-2020. Not 1. Not 1 period. Not1 goal. Not 1 face-off. Then I just couldn't justify rearranging my life to watch this team so religiously anymore.
I love hockey. I love the Sabres. But there were so many games that it felt like I wanted to be there more than most of the players. Im still much more than a casual fan and I watch 99% of the games but it's in the background. I couldn't even tell you all the guys on the team right now. It's sad to lose a fan like me. My dad had season tickets right behind the net in the audience and later in the 200s in the harbor center. Before 2011 I was a huge fan too and always had a goal of watching every game in a season but never got to it but once I did I was dedicated. I scored a goal in the Aud as a little kid playing between periods before the Zambezi goes on. I'll turn the game on tomorrow, but I won't care if they win or lose. Go Bills

  13. No because they’re aren’t even the longest active playoff drought right
that would go to my New York Jets

  14. Remember the Avs? Whoa their Gretzky of rebuilds. You live in a Ron Hextall lala land. Let's concentrate on the Flyers: In 2015 the Flyers drafted Ivan Provorov at 7th while Mikko Rantanen went at 10th to the Avs. Flyers drafted Nolan Patrick 2nd overall while Cale Makar went 4th to the Avs. Flyers drafted German Rubtsov 22nd overall while Tage Thompson went 26th in 2016. Tage luckily ended up on the Sabres. Had the Flyers drafted Cale Makar, Mikko Rantanen, and Tage Thompson the NHL would be completely different. If the picks were reversed the Sabres would be different. The Sabres traded 2nd overall picks Eichel and Reinhart. Eichel finished 1st in points and assists in the playoffs and Vegas won the Cup. Reinhart finished 2nd in the league with 57 goals and won the Cup with Florida. The Avs won the lottery and moved up to draft MacKinnon. The Sabres also drafted Dahlin instead of Quinn Hughes.

  15. I've only recently started watching Ice Hockey (i met a Canadian girl last year, she loves Ice Hockey and has got me watching it now)and am trying to learn as much as I can, about it, your channel has been good for me learning a few things about it, thank you, Merry Christmas

  16. The problem with the Sabres rebuild is that they did not commit fully to it. They had an excellent stock of assets at the start of their rebuild. Then they mistakenly decided to "accelerate" it. Years later and they are just spinning their wheels. Either you go all in on a rebuild, or you don't go at all.

  17. Fire Terry!!!

The MOST IMPORTANT next move IMO

He's the ONE constant during this Hellish drought

Ironic, as his openly declared that he was going to build "hockey heaven"

If you really cared, Terry, you'd take yourself out of the equation, STAT!!!!

You DONT KNOW WTF YOU ARE DOING!!!!

  18. Sabres haven't been good for a while… fair comment. But at least they've been done something in the past 57ish years… a couple finals and a handful of semi-finals. TML are easily the worst orgnization in Big 4 sports, let's be honest

  19. Sorry but cleveland in football and pittsburgh in baseball blow the sabres out of the water when it comes to being the worst franchises on the continent

  20. The most absurd scenario I can think of is Bettman urges Pegula to go suck an egg and sells the team to Toronto Sports and Entertainment. They make necessary moves. Consolidate their strength and let Lindy Ruff do his thing and then go on to win the cup before the leafs. They're technically in the race for who can win the cup first since the last leafs cup came the same year that the Sabres franchise started out

  21. It’s time to admit that Dahlin is a destructive bust. Right now Sabres are wrecking Power. There is literally no player leadership as well.
