Laine has been an absolute keystone element. The confidence is there and that's something you can't buy.
Said it before, Patrick looks like he WANTS to be in Montreal. That's priceless. Everyone plays better with him on the team. Don't fuck it up like you did with PK.
To be fair, Laine had an identical start 2 years ago, and they also had a rookie defenceman that matched Hutson's numbers.
My only issue with Laine atm 0 goal on 5 on 5 is all good for the pp but 5 on 5 is what is importent come playoff time
I love the way the Team is playing. I'm a Sens fan-boy, but I love to see great hockey! I don't see anyone beating Lane Hutson for Rookie of the Year!!! He is doing things very few can do. He WANTS the puck and is magic with it on his stick!!!!! Great show guys and congrats to the Habs!!

I’m from Tampere Finland and went to the same high school with Laine, we were not friends but I try to follow him everywhere he goes but never had a connection to any of the teams he played for, but I’m so glad he got traded to you guys cause your fans really love him and the franchise will get the best out of him and now I really fell in love with Montreal!
