The New Jersey Devils fell to the New York Rangers by a score of 5-4 at Madison Square Garden on 10/1/24.
Isaac Poulter got the start in net for the NJ Devils and played the first 2 periods.
Igor Shesterkin got the start in the net for the NY Rangers and also played the first 2 periods.
Kevin Labanc, on a Professional Tryout with the New Jersey Devils, registered 2 goals and an assist.
Brian Halonen also scored a goal for the Devils.
Both of these men have looked pretty good in the preseason.

I think labanc should be offered a contract he’s played well and like you said halonen will surely get a look at some point. Also being in the Uk miss some games so have to watch the nhl highlights they never show the fights

The young bucks looked good last night they didnt back down at all played a good game.. i thought rempe looked horrible he was just trying to line guys up last night and couldnt and was getting beat to pucks all over the ice i know rangers fans love him but hes not an nhl player

Very proud of our guys. I was aware of Halonen's potential but had no clue of Labanc. I'll be keeping my eye on those two!

2nd half of a back to back for the Utica Comets against a fully rested NHL Rangers roster, and they only lost by 1 point? Our NHL guys should be scared, because these minor league guys played very well, and with a lot of heart. My aunt lives in the same neighborhood as Kevin Dineen. I think I am going to ask Dineen next time I see him why he isn't coaching our NHL guys. lol
