There is no way this is a serious NHL team
The Buffalo Sabres came into tonights matchup without a win in 11 games. Lindy Ruff seems out of answers for his club and yet, they hit another low tonight. Not only did they give up the first goal on the first shot of the game, just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, even when they did score it turned into a 4 minute penalty instead. Getting down 5-1 at one point in this game, they rallied to make a comeback and then had ANOTHER goal overturned after a goalie challenge from Berube. Another disastrous night in Buffalo means the club is now on a 12 game skid. An impressive feat considering that’s more games than they’ve even won this season. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion and it just leaves me feeling bad for the fans. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

Just before the anthem last night, they showed Lindy and the team, and their body language was terrible. I could tell right away the Sabres thought this was gonna be a long night.

I used to dislike the Sabers. They were such a thorn in the Flyers side at times. Now I just feel really bad for the Sabers fans and what they have had to endure. I hope they can get their shit back together so I can go back to disliking then. I also hope the Flyers can get their shit back together as well.
It's probably no coincidence the coastal teams whose cities are falling into dystopic ruin have the worst teams while places like Florida flourish.

As a lifelong Sabres fan, I have no more words. On February 22, 2011, Terry Pegula declared the Sabres soul existence is to winStanley cups. Nothing rings more hollow than those words now.

I really hope Buffalo can figure it out. I'm not a fan of their team, but they deserve better than this and it seems that the owner has a lot to do with it. It starts from the top, and poor ownership/leadership is the death knell for any organization. Good luck! At least you have the Bills 😉

You have a bunch of kids surrounded by few veterans, the 1 constant in the Sabres drought is that during this span their team has always been the youngest. They need good veteran leaders not washed up players like Eric Johnson who is on their last legs. Get some Dmen who block shots, can actually play defense, clear the puck out immediately. Still need more big, physical forwards who are solid 2 way players.
