The New York Rangers slump has caused a lot of question to be brought up and one in particular that I think needs to be talked about is whether or not Chris Drury can be trusted to make this team a true cup contender once again.

IF this team is to make the playoffs , this roster isn't going to get it done i think that much is clear . Lindgren, Miller have to go we need a gritty play driver in the top 6 so kreider is gonna have to go with some prospects Drury will butcher this . This is what being a rangers fan is all about.
One of the players on the Rangers need to step up and start holding everyone accountable for there poor play. While fans might not have liked Goody or Trouba, they made the others play hard at the very least. Trouba struggled doing that on his own this year. After he was traded, the Rangers overall play has gotten much worse as a team. Rangers need a leader to take control of the locker room. I do think Vinny would be good in the roll. As much as think Kreider would be a good captain but after thinking about it more, I'd go with Vinny.
Its obvious that ownership is sticking with drury. He clearly made the pitch that he needs to reconstruct the core of this team. To do that he has to clear room for new players, and he's doing that effectively. He must have moves up his sleeve to bring big time players to form a more capable core here. Let it play out and see who he brings in.
Get rid of Kakko and bring up worthless goon Rempe. Look at Zibby stats from last night, does nothing positive.
Okay, fire the GM, keep the coaches and make a bunch of trades. Gotcha. WHO, are you trading and for what? And, who is your GM choice?

We know there's a couple more trades coming at the least, it will change the room and most likely get the guys back on track and thinking differently about how they play. I think Drury is going to make this team bigger and stronger and move out the guys who are not contributing and not consistent. Trouba-was over paid for underperforming. Kakko-good guy but not the player they expected and not winning games for them. Miller-too weak, too many mistakes. Lindgren-Already slowing down, injured constantly and not big enough. Zib-Terrible now and years of playing weak against tough teams. Kreider- became a 1 dimensional player with an occasional big game. Too many young guys being pressured to step up when they are not ready. Drury is making the moves any way he can to get it done now. We have cap space and draft picks ahead of the deadline, good place to be…
The win at Dallas was really nice, felt great. But foundational changes still need to be made and my confidence in Drury to craft and assemble the right players and pieces is at an all time low.
There are going to be at least three more guys leaving. Miller, Ryan and Chris. Kakko trade was needed, I feel like he created a toxic environment around himself. Borgy was great last night. Defensively we were better but improvement is needed. Mika doesn’t care to play defense.
Tearing a team apart with no return on what is lost is hardly a way to rebuild a contender. We can keep targeting individuals to dump after every loss until there is only the goalie left. I doubt that will get us in the playoffs. Or is it Igor’s turn to whine about ?
I'm tired of hearing about Management, It's time to call these fucking players out and hold them accountable!!
