Who would take JT after this. He's from Ohio right, maybe Blue Jackets for Provorov
Miller and Petey are both incredible hockey players, but come playoff time, I'd rather have Miller than Petey. They should have just released a photo of them holding hands on pride night and put an end to it.
JT basically refused to leave the ice during overtime against Utah, not wanting Petey to come on?
Get rid of them both.
Should have traded Miller instead of Horvat…š”
Well said and agreed from all the things Iāve heard and read . They both need to suck it up . The team needs them both even if they donāt get along . By playing together they can respect one another again . The Canucks cannot replace either one of them .
Trade Miller as long as we get a good return from him.
Bruce was not a Benning hire.
Trade them both for draft pics and prospects
JT needs to give his head a fkin shake and both need to grow TF up. That being said, IF it doesnt work itself out in the next say month? they will fall out of a playoff spot and then 1 of them will have to go. Depending on the return whichever it is they will need to get someone as good as them and peteys age or younger, WHILE addressing the needs to become a reall contender again
The Canucks have consistently made the wrong descisions on a wide range of things that has kept them from being a tier 1 team. J T Miller is just another in a long line of players who desperately want to NOT play in Vancouver. They've been in the NHL for 54 years and still have not won the Stanley Cup!!! It's like they were jinxed. There was an old broadcaster who, when they chose the name Canucks, said that with a name like that they've never win the cup. He's been right so far. I'd rather see them leave town and bring in an expansion team because The Canucks will never, ever win the Stanley Cup in Vancouver. Even hard-core old timers must feel that way sometimes.
Miller has been the sour patch of this team, when he had hot hands few years back before he resigned to a crazy 7yr contract, since then his psychotic episodes became a team problem. The team actually plays better WITHOUT Miller. I donāt mean just wins, Iām talking about work ethics, which itās 60 min. When Miller is in the line up, itās play 40 min(if weāre ahead), then just coast. Numbers donāt lie.
trade miller… its just a tired story with him at this point. just move on and try to get decent value from him before he brings his own value further down.
Just get along its time to play the game
There is no way in hell Allvin will trade Petey now. If its between the two JT will be traded. IF Petey dosent perfrom the next 1-2 season then its possible but it aint happening for a while…
Miller is likely one to go. Older and contract is able to be take on by other teams than petterssons.
Miller to the Rangers for cuylle and Schneider.
The quality of the player should be measured by the value added to the TEAM.
If there is a highly skilled but toxic player on a team, his individual talents are less than worthless as his personal accomplishments hide the team damage.
Anyone thatās played enough team sports has experienced that one āJT Millerā on the team, simultaneously saving and drowning the team. And the lucky ones out there that had a great coach smart enough to see a drowning team must cut out the cancer regardless of the individual strength, knows what has to happen.
Get rid of Petterson, Miller and Boeser. They aren't worth what they're getting paid.
Love them both but.. I will take the 26 year old over the 31 year old. Strictly business!
Hughes is the captain. He needs to sort it out. Call out whoever needs to be called out. Let the pieces fall where they may go.
Crazy idea trade Miller and petey to the devils for Luke and Jack Hughes
