In 2008, i spent $550 to fly to Vancouver and sit right behind the penalty box. Spezza nodded at me in warmup. It was incredible… Until the puck dropped. 3-0 loss and less than 20 shots all game. I never got over it, fucking BURY them.
Just like Ross, I would give the Saturday game to Ullmark, and if it's an easy one, give him the Sunday, too.
6 game winning streak and I start believing in Santa again
I'd still like to see them add another RHD, but they're playing good enough that it is less of a rushed necessity. Zub is great, but he can't be trusted to stay healthy, and if they lose another dman to injury we'll be in big trouble.
What I love about this team and what's different this season is there are NO passengers on this team. NO whipping boys. Even Hammer is playing solid while being way too high in the lineup. There's nobody to complain about
Sens did what good teams do. You won't always play at your best every game it's impossible. But they stuck around and found a way to win, which is what good teams are able to.
If I'm the coach I'm asking Linus if he wants to play both games. If he says yes than Linus plays both. It's Christmas break right after. The Sens need all the points possible right now. Once they can create some distance from the teams below they can get the backup in more down the stretch. And what is even going on with Forsy right now?
Another crazy fact is out of all the teams in the wilcard hunt, the sens are the only team with a positive goal differential. They're getting it done and playing as a team. Let's keep it rolling!
And when is it appropriate to break out the "we want playoffs" chants at the CTC??
Let Linus play Saturday for sure, keep the hot hand going. Let him decide if he wants a rest or not on Sunday.
Sens fans and commentators have zero humbleness. It's five games and we've watched them crash and burn so many times in the past seven years. Just chill with this and do what the player literally say in every interview and take it one game at a time. Act like they have won a game before😂

Honestly the team is actually finally bonding it looks like – they’re starting to develop some of that pesky sens identity, last night was a pesky sens kind of win – just exchange Brady for JGP and you can see that same OT win happening – that’s a really good sign. Competitive teams win games they sometimes shouldn’t and we were outplayed last game for the most part but Ullmark stole us OT and then Ullmark, Timmy and Brady stole us the 2. That OT goal is really thanks to Timmy, it looks like his secondary effort resulted in the pass to Brady for a tap in.
