Blue Fox, I think it was #0. I wouldn’t have predicted that bright silver would work but it outfished others, even in the skinny water
Is that the eagle claw pack it 😂 nice!
I don’t use a swivel at all and I’ve been trout spinning for a couple years now with no problems
never caught anything with spinners, i've quit using them.
Why don't you also crimp your hook if catch and release?
What’s the perfect weight to use for inline spinners for trout? 1/4oz?
And, do you count down your spinner to the depth that you want or retrieve right away?
Everytime I try to fish these in a river it gets caught on a rock and I loose my 8$ lure… lost my brand new one last night
If you catch and release, you should really debarb as well
How do you keep from getting snagged on logs and things in the water I lost a few flys recently and they were somewhat similar to your setup but get caught
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fellers this is a simpleton way of doing it. Throw on a rapala floating minnow get that reaction bite also I'm now getting into the power bait micro worm. I'm trying my best to not become gay and switch to fly fishing
Best way on rivers is to swing them
pinch barb next time
This is the best https://youtu.be/LrIkaunwDmQ?feature=shared
That was a nice size brookie
Nice man also some states and waters you cant use anything more than a single hook for trout
The most useless clip I've seen.
What pole and reel you using?
Get rid of that barb!!!
I'm genuinely curious why anyone bothers using 4lb line for trout. Losing fish sucks. I use 10lb line exclusively. Never spooked a fish with it. I've even caught small trout in CLEAR water on thick black braid a few times. Stop using light lines, guys. When it does snap off, you end up leaving bait in a fishes mouth, with how ever much line is still attached to your hook. And that can snag on stuff and ultimately either drown or starve the fish. 4lb test is pretty useless. Not sure why they even make it
Use fluoro instead of mono much better cause it’s Invisible
I never fly fish I been to Michigan Ohio where fly fishing is king guess what I caught golden trout on my spinning reel with the same setup in this video yea they looked at me like I was crazy fly fishing with a spinning reel but guess what everybody was in ahhhh when I caught that golden trout 😮
Can a swivel be used without that extra bit of line?
What size hook do you use to replace the treble hooks? Tia
Swivels just make the action not work as good. Respool your line you can get 100 yards of 6lb for like $5
Great luck with Mepps and Rooster tail😊
Brooke beautiful trout they all are beautiful trout 😍
How did change your lure hook from a treble hook to a single hook?
Pinch your barbs on your hooks, have respect for the fish
you dont need a liter
I swap out those hooks for trebles
